Insane Shallow Water Micro Jigging 

That kid is a legend, brought a big smile to my face.

I'd give anything for just one more day fishing with my Dad on the Zambezi! More Dads and Mums need to take their Children on fishing trips like this! It doesn't have to be with expensive kit and exotic destinations on big boats either! My most cherished memories are of walking the Zambezi River and fishing together with my Mom. I can still feel the hot sand underneath my feet and the Sun blazing down on my little Bush Hat. I'd fish for little Bream for my Dad with my worms and he would go after the Tigerfish. Mom would invariably get the bigger Bream for our dinner. He seemed invincible with his rifle slung over his back. It was a very wild country then. Take your Old Man fishing, Brooksy. As often as you can. They're gone too soon. I don't think anyone can start fishing too young either! Thanks for the amazing new Content, Brooksy! Brought back some wonderful memories. Ya LEGEND!

Thinking about using it to target freshwater striped bass in southern lakes sitting deep as well as suspended largemouth and spotted bass holding on shad and herring schools. Whats your opinion on adding a weightless jig head with a powerbait curly tail on a loop or short leader above it similar to a black sea bass double rig? Will that cause too much interference with the falling action? I have a 130g wing fall to test it out with on a large setup but would like to downsize to an 80g wing fall and 42g/60g for shallower fish maybe even the 28g for targeting fish on submerged trees

Brooksy! I know that day, I went out that day too. We left with the sparrows at the harbour and the fog was thick as. And Dad jagged two Golden’s as well. However Dad doesn’t use fancy gear. Just a hand line bro. Old school.

Unless the kid is a natural lefty he is going to spend a lifetime using the spinner with the handle on the wrong side of the reel. The kids technique is flawless.

the boy is clearly grabbing the spool because his strong hand/arm is his right one, but then, for some reason, down under they use spinners like they were multipliers, with spinners, you fight the fish with your rod, not the reel, not what they are design for, so you should hold the rod with your stronger arm, elaborating on that, when you are right handed and the rod is in your left, when the fish is surging, you end up letting the handle go to grab the rod with your right hand, then, you have to let go the rod to go ahead and crank the reel again, loosing time in the process, while, if you use your dominant (right hand/arm) for the rod, then, reel with your left, you dont have to let go the handle to go ahead and pump or hold the rod then let go again to crank some more. in the case of multipliers/overheads/casting reels, the reel makes most of the workload, and not the rod, and they are designed to give you a mechanical advantage. that is why 90% of multipliers are right handed.
