I was hunting for Shiny Nidoran male but a Nidoran Female appeared. I left her behind and after 10 secs the Male appeared. So does that mean the chance is still the same even if the female despawned?? Heylp! ❤️

I've left behind a couple of shiny Caterpies while looking for a Bulbasaur, and I think the chances still stay the same. I finally got it after I think 3 Caterpies showed up? I went to another area and the same happened with shiny Rattata when looking for a Charmander. Maybe I just got lucky after a while but at least in my experience the chances seemed to be unaffected from Pokemon to Pokemon as long as the 31 chain is intact. All comes down to luck in the end. Hope this helps at least a little!

I was hunting for nidoran Male aswell.. after 16 hours and a Catch Combo of 150 (after i got a perfect normal nidoran and 200 nidoran candys i stopped catching) i found a friggin shiny dragonite... So i guess No shinies left behind

Just did a grind as well on ditto and it was pretty fun, impossible to catch, took 2+ hours to get 31 combo, then shiny raticate appeared which i ignored and then ditto shiny ran away 5min later after 1st throwed ball. Nicely spent 3h of my life

I don't know how but I think I found a method to reduce the strength of Ditto and wild encounters for the Mansion catch one in Cerulean City cave to get a combo going then go to Cinnabar Island and start catching in the Pokemon mansion

Getting shiny Chansey was so hard to get in ultra moon cause there was only one place to get it and it wasn’t gaurunteed to get chansey so after you get the chansey it is super hard to get cause it’s moves doesn’t have lots of pp
