Pretty sure I can do this, 7 string is more difficult for me because the string is super thick. But also i can do an odd number on the last string and go back into economy instead of the even number gambale rule.

Hey Jacky! Hope you’re doing well these days man! I just want to say that you were a fundamental building block in my guitar development. You blew my mind as a teen in the warped tour days. I couldn’t believe the stuff you were playing up there. So I asked you on Twitter where to start and you suggested to find artists in the style and learn the music. I found shredders like Yngwie, Paul Gilbert, Petrucci, Vai etc. learned the music and it opened the world of guitar for me. Hope you keep this channel up so that you can inspire future guitarists in the same way you did with me!

I have been inspired by you since I was a teenager or 20. Discovered you in either 2010 or really early 2011 because it was before my mom died in May and that FIR album helped me through that time along with a Cage The Elephant one...I couldn’t really listen to anything else that summer for some reason. Anyway, I talked to you one time online yearrrs ago and you encouraged me about my own songs. jacky I absolutely love you. I have a few mentors for different areas in my life like Jordan Peterson, and then a couple others. for music it's John mayer but for metal guitar it's you and we have such a similar shy personality. ur so personable I forget im typing to a superstar. I have a few questions. do you have any plans to join any bands in the future? can you make a tutorial on don't mess with Ouija boards, and did u have any other job before becoming famous? also the jared dines shred battle was fuckin hilarious, but ur so humble u probably didn't think so. much love

Gavin Jordan thanks Gavin! Don’t go for strength, go for the exact opposite - being super relaxed. Strength will lead to wrists/ arm problems and a ceiling to your speed
