Excellent! This footage would give a person who never rode an MX race about as good of an idea what it is like as anything I've seen. The roost, the probing of different lines, some good, some not-so-good. The only thing missing is the impact your body gets and the carnage your knees experience. Loved it! (and yeah, it's been about 40 years since my last MX race!)
@@joshuasawyer8082 Well it's a hell of a blast if you're up to it! You'll probably get smoked the first couple of times out, but hang in there. You'll figure out where you're losing time and adapt pretty quickly. Just don't try anything stupid and don't ride much more than about 10% above your normal limit. You can usually recover from screw ups in that range. Enjoy!
@@andrewhanson5942 I appreciate that a lot. I’ve always rode 4 wheelers and what not growing up. Didn’t have much money to race though. I have a pit bike I mess around on now at pitbike track we made but I need bigger now lol
This is why I love motocross. So many lines, nearly identical lap times. Making a pass isn't so much like threading a needle in supercross. Great footage! Stick and ball sports are boring in comparison.
The bike control and speed that the leader exhibited through the chicane, power sliding with perfect grip and acceleration combined with a smooth transition from left to right was more superbike than moto-x. Amazing skills.
I was impressed with the scrub and to help pull out, combo of brake/down shift (and looks like a quick clutch dump). Also the throw back to BMX pushing the bike down on the down side of smaller bumps. Good vid!!!
Completely Agree I Think The CircuitsThese Guys Compete At are Absolutely Amazing Like the European F1 GP Circuits The Cornering Speeds these Guys are Pulling Off are FNG Mind Blowing
That track seems pretty simple (not that "technical") Perhaps they need more hard obstacles of that vs one line etc. (perhaps they could add "split lanes") lol - looks like a fun track to ride on though. (needs a triple or two though)!
