They do. There's no good way to hunt a certain piece of gear you're looking for, and it sucks especially when you roll the bunnies and get 0 legendary, wasting however many crystals

@@skarin1031 did a long run ending with barkenstein and got 3k crystals. Playing with my brother we both spent 3k in pistols and he got nothing and I just got one ruby's spite... So now we do 10 minutes boss rush for 1500 crystals and we get 2 legendaries.

Item alert! I've been running this build with a primordial purple armor called Lich's Frayed Vestments of Untamed Potential, the rolls are spell damage, area damage and all damage dealt. I've also been using the enchantment "after getting a spell kill, increase the damage of your next critical hit by 50%". It's been putting out crazy damage. Thought I'd share!

I'm doing something similar but I didn't even think of smart armor, so thanks for that! I also dropped some of the points in GB spell cooldown for more dark magic damage, but I'm generally holding a throwable hole for a bit of cc so I'm getting a little more out of it than your setup would

I got to the max tier when the game came out after a reasonable amount of time. Now they increased it and I have way more to strive for. Kind of awesome. I am very much looking forward to getting after the stuff I need for your incredible builds!

Oh neat! My first wonderlands character/playthrough is a Deadshot already. I'm working through the chaos tiers now (29 at the moment, trying to get volatile stuff) and part of my build is based on these laserhands. I'm using the Swordsplosion/spellshot combo to stack up a bunch of sticks into a target, and the laserhand has a low enough cooldown I can usually get two or three off before the swords detonate. I'll definitely try this build out.

I have a similar type build but dont have two laser hands at primordial. I personally like to mix up spells. This build definitely is beast and glad to see. Every build people post is buffmeister dependent.

I just picked it up and am really enjoying myself and have been a fan since bl2. Playing a graveborn and decided on brr-zerker route because I really like the sacrifice ability. This made a strong arguement to reroll after my story play through.

Hopefully they do something about the shirts because with 1 more character the chance a shirt will be something you want when it drops is going from a 1 in 30 chance to a 1 in 37 chance to get your main class and secondary in the order you want or at all

Been using essentially this build since laser hands were buffed. It does so much damage. Main difference is I use the armor that increases fire damage for each enemy hit. Don’t remember the name of it. Also I only have volatile 1 charge laser hands so I end up throwing fire pixies in between charges (which works really well because they hit a lot of enemies boosting my fire damage because of the armor).

fun build, thing is i don't know which enchanments to use for min maxing. Should i stick to fire dmg? elemental dmg? or damage dealt? or make it varied across the board like yours?

so im not chaos 50 (on 40) yet and i have pretty similar gear, but im not hitting anywhere close to those numbers. Is there something that happens at 50 to change that or something?

Moxsy, question. would a variation of this build work with Arcane bolt? i really like the self resetting of that spell for constant casting but i feel like that is sacrificing too much damage cuz smart armor would be bad for that. Also please do keep doing build vids. although maybe a more generic vid for making builds might be good too. help explain some of the nuances and stuff when ti come to builds and "why am i doing so little at max level"

Does it not matter what class you choose as long as it comes down to those two classes being picked like the video showed spellshot being the main class is it the same if I chose graveborn as first and then spellshot as sub

My problem with this build is the same as the cryo variant. Without the points in double knot, you do significantly less damage. And getting a smart armor for spellshot with double knot is like a ridiculously low drop chance. I'd argue both builds are pretty hard to actually pull off in practice.

Also keep in mind that it needs to be Spellshot/Stabbomancer in order to have Double Knot.

I've opened hundreds of barf bunnies just looking for one smart armor with double knot.... not even a +1 standard, let alone a chaos-ascended +2/3.... the gear requirements on this type of build are WAY harder to achieve. Anybody want to dupe me one on PS let me know.

@@CAiNiAC Thanks, but I found out the smart armor is actually bad for the build here, the smart armor hurts your crit damage. Moxsy probably missed that when he made this video.

@@ignitionnight lol, he didn't miss anything. You did. The smart armor lowers crit chance while increasing crit damage. The lowered chance doesn't matter since the spells have 100% crit chance when fully charged, so you end up with free crit damage with no downside. He literally goes over all of this in the video.

I have a question about the best gear possible for the build : Due to our specialization in Magic Bullets/Double Knot/Blast Gasp... Would a Warped Paradigm (Ability/Gun damage increased by Spell damage variant) be a better ward than the Smart Armor? Since Double Knot is Gun Damage and Blast Gasp is Ability Damage. Or is the Crit Damage provided by the Smart Armor just that better? Just wondering. Thanks for your response if you get to see this comment!

I just don’t understand how this much damage gets generated! Even with the same items and enchants, I do a fraction of this. Granted I’m myth rank 120 and use chaotic spells. What influences the damage the most? (Myth rank, whether the spell is chaotic or volatile?)

For any spellshots looking for a good chaos 100 Build I definitely recommend this build. My build mirrors it and doesn't even have double knot yet I'm still easily beating Chaos Boss Runs at 100.

Well... I got a one spell charge ascendant laserhand. Has like, 8000 base damage. It's good when it hits, nice for mobs. Not for bossing. BTW, any way you can nag Gearbox to up the level cap by 40 levels, add a third multiclass, and a repeatable true fatemaker mode?

all the dark magic spells kinda suck though, they sacrifice damage for survivability. the only usable high damage ive seen is last grasp, even threads of fate is pretty average

I don’t know if this has been addressed or not, but you have to complete the side quest burning for hunger to get the wyvern rings. It took me a while to figure this out.

so far so good, I'm using a 9000 ward with damage reduction and Magic Matters makes me unkillable, so far I crit ar 560k and have 34k shield, chaos chamber lvl 54 and pushing. What other builds do you think are just super fun to play?

I finally got a volatile purple armor with +3 double knot and + to all damage dealt. I might stop barfing for the Smart Armor with double knot as I've not seen a single one with any double knot after hundreds of barfs.

I copied the build with a few slight variations in the skills and only had one of the iron man spell but the Timeskip spell works great with this build if you use the crit chance skill rather than the reload speed one and buff graveborn slightly more for suitability.

@@ThePolarpop word on the street is there's some weird double knot interactions with certain gun types having crit damage bonuses. Extra damage if the gun is a sniper rifle, if it is blackpowder or hyperius, and if the gun is a crossbow. Carrouser is the trifecta, plus having fire element to pull from. I don't fully understand it but I'm hitting 20M with my lasers.

This build also Works very good with the kill skill armour because the laserhand does a lot of Status damage
