i wonder why no one to this date looked into dancing arc bolts... got a x2, charge to shoot, with 2 spellcharges, which jumps between enemies (various times double dipping)! i get with a dual cast easy 1M dmg, while you dont even have to aim much, since it autotracks and literally deletes maps while mobbing! maybe not the best 1 shot killer for bosses, but you have 2 charges which normally finish most stuff and its more consistent.

Love to see some love for Sunder, it's my favorite spell in the game. You mentioned that it's not good for bosses, which makes sense on paper, but it feels like it hits large enough mobs/bosses multiple times (Brun always seems to take multiple shots). I'm not big brain enough to test that out, though...

I finally decided to build a spell shot build yesterday because of this video. I started yesterday and got a fire fearnot at lvl and it absolutely shreds. I haven’t found another one and I’m under leveled by 8 levels at the last mission and it’s the only mission I can’t do. This build shreds enemies so much a lvl 10 fearnot melts lvl 32 enemies

I was getting bored with my Morticulturalist and decided to see what else was out here and stumbled upon this. Even without the paradigm and pixies this build melts. I found using a bloodbag gives me a little more breathing room. Thanks for the inspiration!

I finally got a chance to finish leveling up my Spellshot and I gotta say. I’m doing really solid damage so far going through Chaos levels with suboptimal gear. Lol. It’s so fun. I really enjoy this build. I don’t even have the right class mod and so far it’s been insane. I am also using under level Calamity spells because they’re some of my favorites. I cannot wait until I get everything I need. This is the first time I actually felt strong before finishing my gear completely.

Very awesome build! I saw the draft of it in your previous video when you spent points on double knot (and is working very good anyway) but this unexpected evolution is even better! I'm only having problem to find a fearnot with pixies to unlock the full potential of these mechanics =(

this is quite similar to my build. thanks for showing the trickster class mod. i just changed from whicher to trickster class mod, and went for the the gaveborns companion skills instead of flat darkness damage, but the damage increase is insane. i'm not even running pixies in my build at the moment

I’m not gonna lie, this is the first build I’ve had with suboptimal gear where I am straight up shredding these Chaos levels, bosses included. I officially apologize for talking smack. Edit: Chaos 32 and haven’t gotten any better gear and still shredding lol

Awesome man. I have a similar paradigm as yours in video, multi classed with stabbo, using stab capstone. The fairies are hitting for like a mil in FTS 😩 double knot is busted.

Hey Moxsy, thanks for another great video! I really love them and can't wait to play it for myself (will buy it on steam) ;-) And the deadshot with focus on spells is exactly want I want to start with :-) You using ice spells all the time and the frost damage equipment... Would it also be possible to use the dark magic spells and equipment or will you loose to much synergies? What about a Buffmeister as second spell with it's 80% spell damage?

I gotta say, I really enjoy this game. But holy god damn, does farming for gear in this game get me so frustrated! I’m so over it taking days of farming chaos chamber for a single piece of gear, only to still not get blessed by RNGesus, to have the correct piece of gear line up with the applicable classes, class abilities rolls and sub stats! I really hope in the future they add an update where you can reroll the applicable classes on gear! I’m fine with rest being left to the mercy of RNGesus. I’m just really fed up with having the right piece of gear dropping with great sub stats, except it’s for a brrrzerker and stabomancer, when I’m a spellshot/graveborn. 😤 but to leave this comment on a happy note, thanks for all you do for this community moxsy! You are a true champion of this borderlands/wonderlands community. Much love! 🤟

Love these builds. Running cryo build right now. Does dark hydra proc as a companion (they don't show up on the mini map like the lich or the thrown winged guns)?. Also, is cursed wit fixed? It was failing to proc because the ward was staying depleted rather than being depleted.

@Moxsy Thank you so much for finally helping me connect the dots on this build! I've been using something similar since I started the game and fell into the Fearnot before you started getting into the gun and realized how double knot worked. I found a few of the pieces and was clumsily using the build without some things in quite the right place and couldn't quite figure it out. As always, appreciate the time and effort you put into testing, discovering and sharing! One question: How do you deal with mobs/modifiers where the map is basically immune to cold? The dark magic damage isn't always enough (at least for me). Maybe swap an item or gear piece or are we just crazy strong against everything but can't function against cold immune?

I just run multiple fearnots with different damage types in my load out and just switch to a different one if I'm up against ice immune enemies. And also just never picking that modifier helps.

I always thought that if you didn’t unlock that column of skills on the skill tree you won’t be able to use the class mod for it. Good to know that you could still use double knot even though it’s not unlocked.

Oh, I was confused on the video. He said "We will explain that in a second" but I understood he was using a class mod that has skill points in to "Double Knot". But, didn't quite clarify that you will STILL receive the benefits of the skill regardless if you have not branched that far down the skill tree. IF that is in fact how class mods work in Wonderlands. I have quite a bit of digging to do when it comes to which mod to use for ANY of my characters!

I just started a spellshot playthrough. Probably won’t be far into endgame for a while tho, last week of college is this week then finals Monday-Wednesday after. But having all my lucky dice loot luck will make it easier to play through. Level 3 and already have a cryo x4 smg, cryo shotgun, and a rare cryo extinction calamity LOL

Is there a particular difference between a Whatnot and a Fearnot? Cause so far I have a Whatnot (with pixie) while copying this build on a new character and while I've only just begun chaos trials after smashing through the campaign with a more hydra focused loadout and yeah, it's slaughtering pretty much just as well as advertised even with a not very optimized gear. Should I be seeking to replace my Whatnot ASAP to truly unlock the build's ull potential or should it suffice as I trek towards at least Chaos 20?

I also have 7/5 spell sniper and my spell crit chance shows as 20-30% depending on the spell I am using. Even if my spell were 0%, I should still show 100+% to crit on spells but it isnt, is something bugged? Other question: The spell says 35% crit chance at the top and then -20% spell critical chance in the text in the window below. Not sure what that means?

Remember now, he stated at the start that this build doesn't require any specific gear. You should be able to get this to work with anything you have in your inventory!!!!!

I can vouch. I’ve got crap gear. Just getting a class mod with knot. Any class mod and a fear sprite weapon, mines fire. I’ve got 2 non chaotic blue ice spike spells. I’m doing 10 min chaos 35 clears

@@joshlance6926 Just remember it only rolls on spellshot spore warden you can get purple versions with 2 or 3 in double knot you can also use a diamond gauntlet or that classmod that sets you on fire it works well with this but be careful high damage output but your health will always be going down.

@@jkutyna idk man. i have almost exactly this same build down to the hero points. what i don’t have tho is either class mod, 1 mood ring and a pixie fearnot (i have a lightning fearnot no pixies), and for a bit i was doing insane damage and even cleared dragon lord in like 5 seconds and it was my first time in wonderlands getting that big health bar to drop to zero in like one hit and man it was crazy exciting, but now i’m just not doing that anymore to other bosses and i have no idea how i was able to do it to the dragon lord. this build indeed is a crazy endgame build with all types of super rare gear (fearnot pixie in frost/lightning is so damn hard to get) but based on how it’s been treating me i have no complaints, just wish those boss clears would be a little more frequent as now i’m struggling to beat this son of a witch bastard to get my chaos level up

I see double knot is not 21% for me but instead is 12% I also see mood rings are 33% instead of 100%, I imagine their are other nerfs that have also affected this build which sucks because for once I have all the gear needed for a build. Does this build still hold up in high level chaos chambers?

Im confused, double knot cannot roll on a classmod if it's not a stabbo spellshot Armor ?? I thought that it was based on if spellshot was the main class on the mod or the secondary

I reached C20 before the latest Patch and DLC and just started playing again. I figured a lot of stuff got nerfed... My questions is, how do you get Volatile Gear and does the New stuff drop also in the Chaos Chamber? I'm a bit overwhelmed.
