so let's get a double shot and split the screen with footage of you actually fishing on one side and the footage of the bass underwater on the other side of the screen. 😎
TacticalBassin I've got all the faith in the world in you guys. I know it's a lot of work. But it will be awesome. I'll say it again. TacticalBassin is probably the best all around channel on RU-vid!!
This is awesome. We always wonder what goes on underwater and how the fish interact with our lures, but now with new technology and TacticalBassin we can see everything! Good work!
Was this footage shot near the bank or open water humps?? Would love to see a straight quick retrieve reaction bait pass through the pack before you set them off with the jerk bait in cold water.... I've heard it a million times at the ramp, parking lot or tackle store in late fall and winter... "We saw fish but the bite shut down between 9am and 4pm!" And to those guys I always say 'if you want those 9am-4pm fish, give them a 'free handout' a dying or wounded bait fish is an 'irresistible' opportunity all day long... The struggling, erratic, dying, last gasps movements of a bait fish makes me think getting hammered by an 8lber must be merciful :-)
WOW OMG Did I...... can't say enough about tacticalbassin to get underwater footage of the fish striking ,hitting, reacting, smashing, hook set , Deadly Thanks you guys must have gone through a lot of trouble to get that footage
Awesome video. Love seeing how the fish react to the baits. Would really like to see side by side of you guys fishing these baits so we can learn some techniques on how to fish the specific lures.
Good vid...like always...lmk when you come to central Illinois lmk I have a good public lake to fish. See how we can do...u won't get under water footage but can catch some nice ones
Can't wait for your buying guide video. Do you plan on doing a rod and reel segment? Looking at spending around $200 for a combo what do you guys recommend? Thanks!
Awesome tactical! Got my second pair of eye surrenders from your video last year and they are awesome. Looking forward to some good black Friday deals.
Thank you for making this video and sharing the footage! I went out of my way to look for an underwater jerkbait video and this did not disappoint. Thank you!
On a bait from Mega Bass you're saying you need to change the hooks?? Hell, at the price point they sell their baits at, you would think the hooks would surgical sharp! Personally I think its kinda absurd that for the money these manufactures charge per bait, that they can't provide a quality hook with the bait. Great vid as usual guys!
Thanks for posting that you use the Megabass Levante Flatside Special for the Magnum and Katana. I’ve struggled finding a rod to fish these baits effectively and I wouldn’t have ever thought of going to a Regular action. Out of interest, why Fast action for the 110 as an example and then Regular for the bigger baits ?
Absolutely love fishing a jerkbait!! And once again amazing underwater footage. I can't imagine the amount of time and hard work it took for you guys to get this awesome footage!! Love it!
Kudos. Underwater footage is my favorite. The activity and behavioral patterns of bass is absolutely captivating and exciting to watch. Keep em comin boys 👍🎣👍
Dude that was a great video. I just couldn’t help going out and throwing the jerkbait. After seeing how the fish react to them I had a lot of confidence and threw it until I got bit. Tks for the video.
How many differnt days and conditions was this shot? I noticed there were different reactions. Sometimes it was the pause that drew the strike and other times when paused they would turn away but would be way more interested when moving fast. Btw awesome video
I'm in the market for new rain gear can you guys throw in your opinion on some good brands that vary in price. i'm looking at Stormr but am dwelling on spending 600 bucks on a the full suit. thanks in advance.
Awesome video again! Does anyone know if the new IMX-PRO CBR 845 has the identical action as the discontinued CBR845? That's one of my favorite JB rods.
Like you said "How can you not like Jerk Bait fishing!" Is and always will be my favorite way to catch bass. Use pointers, 110's, Duo's and even old school floating Rapalas. Trying out the staysee and LC DD this year. Awesome video footage. This just blows me away on how fired up they get!
Your underwater videos provide a never seen before perspective. I’m learning so much. It looks like most of the Jerkbaits rise rather than suspend, particularly the Katana, it didn’t look like it made a difference but I always thought that a suspending action was preferred ?
Wow! This was an amazing view underwater guys! I do believe I may have learned something watching this.I will have a jerk bait tied on this Friday 4 reel!👊💥
Looking to get a jerkbait rod. Have you tried the megabass destroyer oneten special or the megabass orochi jerkbait special? If you have any pros and cons would be appreciated.
That was absolutely fantastic! The hooks that come on the Megabass Kanata are already super sharp, so I’m kind of amazed that several fish that really seemed to want it didn’t hook up. Regardless, it’s really obvious why you don’t want EWG style trebles on these baits.
Seems that you guys have really taken a liking to the Gamakatsu Finesse Nano trebles, how much better do you feel they are than the ST-36? Great footage, will probably end up watching it about a dozen times more.
They're different. We LOVE them for jerk baits but don't like them for anything else. Can't really explain why they work better for that particular application but they really do.
When you were straight retrieving it....was it just to get it in the strike zone for where the cameraman and fish were? or is burning it/straight retrieving before starting to twitch something you all do regularly?
Great underwater footage! You are so right about it sparks other fish to hit a jerk bait. I have done this in very clear water with schooling smallies. This is so fun!
Unbelievable footage. Great to see. I have thought about the differences between schooling bass and the solo bass and was thinking that the schooling bass were more aggressive and reactionary due to the competition over food in the school. This seems to show it.
Impressive footage. Now I know how I need to slow down my fishing. You'll know if they hit it. Great job. I didn't know what to think about your knowledge of fishing for two youngsters. You guys know what's going on 👍🏻✋🏻💯
Damn guys thank you for this video, first thing I’m gonna do is change out the hooks on all of my jerkbaits! I bet I missed some giants just because of the hooks getting dulled out
Crazy footage for sure I love throwing jerkbaits they are one of the best fall lures around in my opinion and it looks like you may have to make the same cast 2 or 3 times to get one to bite very helpful information.
