I'm a big 5 cylinder fan, I own a MK6 Jetta with the 07K and I've done a few things like header and straight piped it, a Walboro 455, a IE Performance intake manifold kit, and had it properly tuned next I'm gonna make it look good I got some H&R lowering springs on the way but haven't decided on color (might leave it black just hard to keep clean) or rims and I might do some cosmetic mods like the MK7 headlights for the MK6 look really cool and I like aero I just live on a dirt road so I don't want to rear up expensive body parts
What a beautiful car, that colour is incredible! If I were to do it I'd keep the full '72 interior, but I love how unique this build is for it's choice to mix and match so many generations of Audi
No shit! Awesome to have it in the states! Have a 350hp 1.8t '79 Audi 80 Fox myself. I had a custom made front mount radiator made to fit behind the grill...unfortunately the latch mechanism has to go to fit, just an idea for ya. Basically looks exactly like a fmic behind the grill, with 2 pusher fans infront...sandwiched between the radiator and grill.
Excellent video, but at 1:25 you posted a picture of a D1 Audi V8 Quattro, not a C4 S4 Plus(V8). This engine also did come in the Audi V8 Quattro to the United States in 1992-1994.
The car shown in the pic is a D1 V8, but the components came out of an early S4 V8. It's the same body style as the I5 ur S4 in the USA, but it was sold (albeit rare) with a V8. This is pre-S6 plus. The S6-plus is similar configuration, but was a bit more special and built by quattro GmbH.
1:23 ... doesn't look like a 1995 Audi S4. That's a V8 Quattro (4C). However, you are correct, the original S4 never came to the states in a 4.2 v8 flavor, but I believe it was imported into Canada. Also, I believe the S4 (C4) was rebadged as the S6 (C4) in 1995. No biggie.
looks like an Audi 200. Dont know any Audi of this aere as A4 S4 with an v8. There where S6 with 5cylinder or the later S4 with v6 and Biturbos. The S4 after that was the first to get an v8
Impressive, but it would be ultimate if you add the original chrome wheel caps. Also, please put the original dash in, much much more stylish than the plastic drap which is installed at the moment.
If you know audis you know this car came standard with a 1.8 engine and this was an attempt at making the v3 which was Porsche and Audi collaborating and it should have wider arches and have the Porsche 996 rear axle. I’m planning on building one and restomoding it. This is my dream car 😂 Jamie Orr seems like a legend but who ever built that Audi did it cheap there’s a lot of work to be done... I’m jealous Because there where only 1500 ever made right hand drive 😭
This is so awesome.... my mom had an Audi back in 74 it was a 1972 100ls we all loved that car that was my first time in a VW/ Audi car that's when I noticed the many parts with the VW and Audi logos ... ah to be 6 again🤣🤣🤣
Because he had to! The original interior didn't fit when the gearbox was installed and the electrics didn't work on the original . My father who built this car :)
I had an A80 of the same year with the drivetrain from my 1985 Passat aafter the A80 put a rod through the block. turned out the drivetrain from my Passat written off in a crash, fitted like a glove.
Finally getting some well deserved limelight 👏😉. How much love and mischievous energy has been put into this car? I reckon it must be a fair amount of both 😘. Bra jobbat!
@@actinsilence yeah, i think he regrets it sometimes, but then again the car was in a article in a Swedish sportscar magazine called "bilsport". And he always starts new projects, so time will tell what he's up to next. 😊
Man this is cool... I have a 71 Audi 60L I found on Market place a few years back and absolutely HAD to have it since clearly it was imported here ( I'm in Florida ). I've been figuring out what I want to do with it. It's mostly all complete But, we basically had to pull it out of the ground. Has the inboard disc brakes , 4speed manual column shift.. The cost to try and replace everything on it wouldn't make any sense , might as well just ship a nice one over... I would really like to do an Audi 5 cylinder , possibly rear wheel or awd drive since it needs a bunch of metal work and replacement parts ... Basically anything can be done.... Just figuring out what direction to go. I know about air cooled stuff, not so much water cooled 😂
Very good work, respect 👍 I myself have two conversions to V8. An Audi convertible 8 cylinders 4.2 from 1992 An Audi 80 quattro B4 8 cylinders 4.2 from 1994 one can only admire your work. Greetings from Germany Click on the rings and you will see my Audis
Really cool build. Even though it went a little to far for me It deserved the OEM interior, OEM rear "diffuser" and small retro wheels. Definitely unique though❤️❤️
It looks good, probably it drives good also. Sound can be better but ok, and it needs better solution from inside to be perfect. Otherwise i like that style, combination of classic design with new engines.
Awesome car. Unrelated to this episode. I saw, for the very first time, a MK3 wagon. It was on an ad on a fb page. That made me like the MK3 body style. What would it take to get one? Great information. A real treat to see and learn more, awesome channel.
