The slice of life stuff in this show is endearing, and if you think of the ovas as being after like, every two episodes of season one it makes more sense time-wise.

When the eyelashes (the guy who talked to lily) said that tatsumaki isnt fubuki's younger sister, he meant that she was actually the older sister, Tatsumaki is 28 years old while Fubuki is 23, you'll see people mistaking them as well since tatsumaki does look like a child lmao, Tatsumaki is my favourite character and you'll like her even more when season 3 comes out. :)

Tatsumaki probably stabbed zombieman not out of pure boredom, more like to vent frustration/aggression after the whole incident of saitama pissing her off and her getting in a drunken rage. Simple aggression venting, and she knew zombieman would be fine so he was a good target.

remember that Sonic break the sound barrier when he moves so he is moving faster than sound. So technically his groin moved toward Saitama's fist at mach 1 or 768 mph at the minimum. Anyone get hit in the groin with that much force is bound to have PTSD.

Have you watched Case Closed? (The anime with Detective Conan). The last episode was like a parody of it. The voice actor was the same between child emperor and edogawa conan, too.

So here's some cool references and lore for you. Sonic is a references to Sasuke from naruto they even look very similar, in fact all of the ninjas are a bit of a references to naruto like flashy flash and others you will meet in S2. They come from ninja villages like just like in naruto and the boar Ino was also referencing Ino from naruto who had a huge crush on Sasuke. Also the PTSD from sonic while funny that he hit him in the groin was more of a fear that Saitama was one of the first people to actually be able to read him moves and see past his speed. The train bomber was referencing bomberman from the bomberman games. Also there are more OVA's there is one on how Saitiama got his famous suit, and shows how monsters are actually formed naturally. The monster one is actually interesting lore wise because it shows a a man who is obsessed with stealing properties which then causes him to transform into a monster in front of our eyes. This shows that if you obsess with something enough it can change you. So when the monsters say stuff like I was obsessed with eating crab and so I turned into a crab monsters, while funny is actually true. This could also PARTLY explain how Saitima got his strength as he obsessed with strength training, although probably NOT solely responsible for it. There is lore referencing that he broke his "limiter" as he didnt believe people had a limit to their abilities and other lore suggesting he has a god residing in him that he's not aware of. Could be a combination of all three that gave him his power. There are also other ways monster come to be made which will be shown in S2 but that is an artificial method and not a natural process like this. Also OVA's are like bonus little mini low budget stories that are usually made and released in-between seasons to develop characters or the background a little bit and keep fans happy as they wait for the next season.

translation team should've done a better job... japanese says "onee-chan" in audio then the english subs also say "onee-chan" but in english text lmao. didn't even translate! should've just said "elder sister" to avoid confusion haha

I guess it makes sense why you didn't pick up that Tatsumaki is the elder sister. Onee-san is what a person calls their older sister. But Fubuki uses a more respectable way to call her which is Onee-sama. For elder brother it's onii-san, or onii-sama. There's also ane-ue, and ani-ue, as well as aneki and aniki. As you watch more and more anime, you'll pick up on these things. Same with all the suffixes with the most common ones being -san, -kun, -chan, and -sama. The subtitles used onee-sama here. I prefer it that way. Like they used sensei when Genos calls Saitama. But for newer anime watchers, it'd be harder to grasp the meanings. Although, some subs do use older sister, or just sister for onee-sama. And teacher or master for sensei.
