I got lucky and was able to beat the wall of grizzlies. The game stops you from progressing if you go too fast, but I was able to beat it and continue to play. Although It doesn't do much after.
I love how you, in utter confusion and hopelessness, keep looking back at the board as if there’s going to be something new. It’s like rechecking the fridge every 5 seconds.
I got a player card that was free, came back to hand on death, and allowed me to grab any card I want, giving me literally the option to draw my basically a perfect hand to destroy anything
undying squirrels are a favourite of mine. they're hilarious. another way to beat the grizzlies is to have the sacrificial knife and a pair of pliers and use those on the first turn, since that amounts to five damage and will instantly win you the game.
Broo I already know the trick , and your content is a simples thing to do and I'm not going to lie, but the first chapter of the game is most easiest thing to do :v.
When my dad and I first played this fight, we thought the 2nd phase was a punishment for beating the first phase in one turn, since we had a shark that had 3 way attack and we won instantly. Never knew the bear wall was intended.
Yeah, when I encountered the (apparently, planned) stop-walls at 2 of the bosses, both times I had absolutely WRECKED -killed one of them in 1 turn, the other in 2, and I thought (by his phrasing) that fer sure I had to go slower on the boss, as a way of confirming the player wasn't just cheezing through. I ended up spending a few runs purposefully not trying to win for a while such that I kept getting beaten lol. Went online, happened to read that it was planned and not a function of how you were playing the match, felt like an idiot haha.
After the first phase of the trapper fight the trapper turns to the trader and the 8 grizzlies or the grizzly wall is a punishment for getting there on your first life meaning you never died
"The Tarrasque is immune to nonmagical damage and resistant to all other damage." "I ignore resistances-" "The Tarrasque ignores that you ignore resistances."
i think everyone knows why leshy doesn't respond if you beat the grizzly bear wall. also it would be cool that from now on playing the game leshy's eye are glowing red
@@7s7salwa7sh3 it was never intended or thought of for the grizzly bear wall to ever be beaten so they made no programmed response for beating the grizzly bear wall
@@trollingtrollfaceandtrollge My canonical reasoning is that it's the equal equivalent of the Dm having his encounter that was supposed to kill the party get killed
I did a similar thing with the reproducing gecks, paired with a magpie and a custom deathcard that allowed me to pick any card I wanted made me almost instantly win every battle, including TOO FAST TOO SOON, it'd just take a long time.
A famous french youtuber destroyed every grizzly wall on his first try of the game. That mean without the bones too ! And the most impressive thing is that he knew literally nothing about the game. That guy is a genius believe me x) his name is Boblennon if u want to check out
Luck is a major factor. If you don't have a way to survive, you won't. You need to have been lucky enough to find the correct tools, and be clever enough to play them well enough to get through
The squirrel MVP, The thing about grizzly wall is developers expecting you lose because deck exhausted or you run out of hand. And that squirrel just won't die. Grizzly be like "WHY WONT YOU DIE ??!!"
First turn of the grizzly wave you could've cleared the left lane instantly if you just took one of your bottled cards, having the tentacle card hit 7 damage lets it overkill the grizzly behind and oneshot it with death touch, would've won the battle from there
Ikr, they could have also just gotten 3 squirrels and blocked all but 1 lane to prevent any damage while they use cards from their deck to attack. I have no idea why this took seven minutes, realistically it would take seconds.
There's plenty of ways to beat the wall. My favorite is using scissors on one of the bears and summoning any of the oodles of animals you can create with 5 or more attack in the empty place for a one-shot. Quick. Simple. Effective.
Its so funny to me how anyone and everyone I've ever seen come opon the wall of grizzlys is just abosolutly baffled and in utter confusion. Like watching Mark get here and scream "HOW??? WHAT???" over and over is just so funny.
thing is, folks tend to only post extraordinary feats, like beating grizzly-wall. very few will post their failed attempt at it, so it's still an accomplishment! instead of thinking about your peers, think of the hundreds more behind you that didn't quite make it there on their 3rd or 4th attempt, let alone their first try in their first playthrough...
quick tip for any wall of grizzly challengers, unkillable squirrel totem is the best for this. You can have 4 squirrels that you place every turn, that will die to the grizzlys, but they will come back to your hand, letting you draw attacking cards without any threat of losing
First attempt at this game, we got a beehive with undying on it, and the bees it made had undying as well. that was all it took to beat the first bear wall we didn't even know was coming lol, and then we got the beehive put onto our 5/2 death card for 1 blood after completing the entire first run. This actually ended up sucking for us, because we got stuck and couldn't figure out how to progress because we never lost lmao, we had to look it up after completing our fourth run and checking out literally everything in the cabin. Beehive + Undying = infinite combo of death, honestly the game should just reward us with the magic eye if we manage to break through both bear walls in the first run smh
When I first saw the title, I thought it would be from an OP card like ManlyBadassHero who got his first card made to be a 8-8 attack and health card that only cost 1 blood. Had he put the mantis god on it he woulda been unstoppable

@@bigman9341 Bro this guy had infinite squirrels! No skill was required to win this, it was the luck of getting that totem. He literally could have just kept putting 1 card that deals damage on a tile and 3 squirrels in the rest of the spaces and won. Just cause he checked his deck every 3 seconds doesn't mean he was doing something even remotely difficult.
The key method of taking out the grizzlies is to focus on one column, and just block the others if you can - you can take 4 points of damage from the start from one Grizzly, but that's it. Unkillable can be put on cards that spawn other cards (Skink's tail, Beehive's bees, even Beaver's dams) for near endless defensive fodder, but it isn't necessary all the time. It looks like the player had Touch of Death on a Hand Tentacle, so he could've stalled in the first part, or simply not played one squirrel at 2:37, basically killed off one column with the overflow damage and Touch of Death's ability, then block the other zones (at least 2 others) until he can do enough damage.
It would seem to be a universal rule for card games now that if faced with impossible odds, just through a legion of squirrels at it. *Emrakul would like a word*
Emrakul: Here, let me take another turn casually. Now that my summoning sickness is over, anihilator six. That squirel player: I'll sacrifice 6 squirells and block with 20 more
In Inscryption kaycee's mod you can actually fight 3 bosses with the grissly wall, for those wishing to defeat the all challenge mode... i wish you goodluck
Watching someone play through this part reminded me so much of my first experiences with domekeeeper, and watching this was like realizing it is possible to beat the impossible final stage.
My humor is so busted as soon as the video started I seen “the smoke” and started laughing hard almost wheezing” because your opponent indeed got the smoke lol
I love Inscryption, I just wish the entire game was act 1 like it was supposed to be originally. The other acts kinda killed the game for me. I liked it just being this grim card game for your life against this demon of the woods rather than a living game
play kaycees mod, which has been in the base game for almost a year now. It revamps a lot of the card mechanics and some rules and makes the game a bit harder, and you can use different starting decks you unlock through gameplay
i like how even though being able to get through this was not intended, leshy saying that trader is dead even though she didn't show up in the second phase still actually makes sense cause in act 2 the trapper and trader are shown to actually be the same person (i'm pretty sure), they just flip their head upside down to change appearances
Nice! When I beat Leshy after the "Too fast, too soon" message I didn't actually beat many grizzlies. I had a rattler from the Mycologists (6 power, 2 health), and used an hourglass to skip his turn so I would attack directly on the next turn after killing the opposing grizzly.
I had a rabbit mound with the sigil of the pack rat. Basically, every time you put the mound down, you would get a bunny. Though with the sigil on it, you would get a copy of the mound in your hand so you would get infinite mounds. The funny thing is that the bunnies that would come out of the mound also had the sigil on them. So I basically had infinite blood
The easiest way is with scissors and something that can do over 5 damage in 1 hit. Or a ceremonial knife and pliers. The combo of both gets you an instant win, plus the Master’s Eye if you’re yet to get that.
All cards shake during sacrifice, and those more often sacrificed, like the squirrel and black goat, change expressions upon being selected for sacrifice.
There is a french youtuber that finish first try his absolute first run. Meaning beating the great grizzli wall twice and the final boss after, with no experience. The name of this *God* is Bob Lennon
I like how you technically already won immediately but decided to save your squirrel bottles for when something ACTUALLY difficult happens so you allowed the grizzlies to kill your win condition
So you beat the wall of bears with an army of undead squirrels and some half decent damage. Not gonna lie, I'm impressed, it is difficult to get something like that setup, especially so early.
I just got the Game before Christmas and after watching Mark play the game, I knew Act 1 Fairly well. I managed to breeze my way to the Prospecter and Immediately got the Grizzly Wall. I don't remember how, but I somehow managed to beat the Wall on my first EVER try. 😂
Me and a friend did this on accident since we had a Mothman on the board that was buffed to deal 9 damage and we just tanked enough for a turn and won on the following
Cuckoo and scissors is great for this. You can either have a upgraded bird or enough cards to block damage until you win. I had an undying egg so i could block damage plus a lot of rabbits
I remember beating this on my first playthrough, thinking you had to beat it to pass and was like "this must be the end of the game!" But I lost the next match anyway and was regretting to have to play against the grizzlies again. But I didn't have to haha
I like how he just decided to keeo drawing cards instesd of gradualy building a infinite wall of immortal swuirrels instead of just focusing on one line of bears
Definitely a solid cheese strat (immortal squirrel) lol. Can't believe I didn't think of that (not that I've gotten the option); I've played triple sacrifice squirrel and growth squirrel (where after 1 turn they become 1/3 elder squirrels), but not immortal squirrel.
