I ones met a lady I liked and I wanted to ask her out. She told me she has a guy already. I was obstinate and insisted by getting her expensive gifts. She respectfully rejected the gifts and stated she couldn't take the gift because it would be disrespectful to her man who wasn't doing well for himself at the time. Till today I respect her and know her man is lucky.
But that’s the thing though. You’ll spend your whole life with them reassuring them cause they always find every single thing you do suspicious and you have to explain every single move all the time. It gets tiring to some extent
