Question Igor... l have noticed that most houses in Canada are built too close to each other.its like they intent to save space yet Canada has a huge land area and low population. Why not built houses with space yard atleast?

my house in the South has increased 18% in the last 7 months Ygor! how much more do you think calgary prices are going up?

I really like Calgary and have been there many times, so please don't take offence, but if this is the state of Calgary real estate today, I'm no longer interested. I doubt that house was over $450k in 2019. There were great homes in Mahogany in mid $500s just last summer. I am all for price appreciation but this strikes me as outright price gouging. In my opinion, one of the most appealing aspects of Calgary was low home prices; once they're gone, what is the point of moving from another province? Jobs? Not really, compared to Ontario etc. Beauty? Not really, compared to BC (actual Calgary, not the Rockies an hour away. You won't see an unplanted tree in South Calgary for as far as the eye can see). Weather? Not, really, compared to anywhere. Sorry to sound negative, but it's hard to get excited about cookie-cutter homes on tiny lots that are edging their way towards $1 million. Goodbye Calgary, good luck and please don't turn into Toronto.

What a small sitting room for that much money.Location is not everything ,when you pay that much for a mouse hole.I don't understand this newly developed houses, the bedrooms are so small too if you put a bed in there for your kids and get some built in wardrobes is no room for a study desk. Where in the house your kids will be study in that small kitchen or sitting room?We have the same problem here in Ireland, these newly developed houses bedrooms are so small you only able to a bed in and a chest of 3-4 drawers and thats it. These developers building these kind of houses so they can build a lot more propertys on the land.
