It is Prime Bel-Air but with all the windows I do agree on the hills with more privacy and better views would have been better. But the house is amazing overall
@@SketchDesignDevelopment Right, those two words "Bel Air." For anyone who doesn't know, Bel Air is one of the most exclusive luxury area in the world. Many homes are 50 mil or more in Bel Air with some over 100 million. Agree this homes exact location would have been nice with LA's skyline but... As unbelievable as this may seem, 16 mil in Bel Air is actually on the "affordable" side.
Stunning. The word quality does not even begin to describe this master piece. It is houses like this that make you realise we mostly live in homes without imagination. The only thing that it is lacking is security. Houses like this are easy to rob. Earth is not paradise yet and our homes cannot just bleed into the natural world with no protective fencing to ward off intruders and wild animals. Other than that, I rate this house a fifteen out of ten just on beauty and design alone.
Love the positivity and constructive criticism. I respect the Architect for doing something so unique and different and not playing it safe. The inside was designed just as uniquely as the exterior.
@@officialjeremiahrussell on a different lot 100% . It is priced around 2000 SqFt which is the starting price for new build home in Bel Air. But buyers at this price point are aggressive. One of the first videos we posted was for a house in Bel Air that was also featured in selling sunset, at $15m with amazing views. Sold for $12.4m. So we shall see.
Totally agree beautiful property but who’s going to pay that for a property with absolute no privacy when everyone can see right in the property from all angles….such a shame
I agree the lot could have been better chosen. Hillside Views would have been amazing for those style of home. But the house is in prime Bel Air. And a very unique designed home.
looks futuristic but the neighboring houses feel right up against the house, and how do u maintain privacy with an all glass house? i would feel compelled to keep everything super tidy lest the neighbors judge me...
It's definable unique, different and out there. I do love the fact they took a risk and done something different than playing it safe and building what every other developer seems to be building
Love the home and love the design! But with a $16.5 million price tag it deserves a ocean view or city view with tons of privacy. I mean how else can I get naked women to parade around the poolside without envious neighbors looking in and hating me? Also - needs a much bigger pool.
I have to agree with your comments. Totally unique and refreshing style but location could have been better tough it is Bel Air! Also pool should definitely have been bigger.

That's a really good critique. Thanks for taking the time to watch and share your thoughts. We are out and about weekly to bring you the latest property developments to hit the Los-Angeles market so stay tuned for more beautiful homes.
Thought would be more airy inside with these beautiful soft lines. It screams for smooth indoor- out door transition with nature, with the view...which not exist over there. At least there should be great design of outdoor plants, trees, to cover street view. To make it more private. I believe its neccessary.
Beautiful house with Zaha aesthetic but with dismal view. It's really too bad. if this house was on the bird street with view of the city, it would had been spectacular. But then again, price would also be higher. Good luck to the developer. It's never easy to sell the most expensive house on the block but you only need one buyer.
It's Definitely a Zaha Hadid style design. Developers in LA constantly take risks and I think this lot may not have been the best choice for this particular design even though it is Bel Air. But it's certainly is a unique and remarkable designed house.
Million -dollars houses should alwys be stand alone on a cliff over the 360*either ocean or sea views without any peeping tom or noisy neighbours with a gated huge entrance ofcourse how many of you agree with my point when all the money in the world who wants people around to bother you with own private helipad on the rooftop & huge yacht anchored in front of the deck running towards the sea/ocean
The beauty about Los Angeles is that it offers so many variety of homes and areas. From flat lots to hills, Spanish style architecture to super modern. There is something for everyone's tastes. On our channel we try to show a variety of new constructed homes to hit the Market every week.
This is somewhat cool but not 16.5 mil cool. Such fantastic views this place has.. all those cars and houses. It's a good thing it's wide open with floor to ceiling windows so either everyone in the neighborhood can see you.. or you keep the shades closed all the time.
It is Bel Air though I have to agree not the best location to have showcased this masterpiece. On the other hand it's in plain site for everyone to admire
This house is a dream to me, I will remove only color black and brown and replace it with spring_pop colors. Beautiful white bed, but I wonder..when you put down your dresses you will make a show to the neighbours? Where are shades?
For the critics: IF a new home would be built in Bel Air, THIS is what would be built. Would you expect an architect to build a new construction home that more resembles the tract-like homes nearby?
You have to give credit to the Architect that went for a unique and innovative design. We see luxury homes every week and post the best new homes to hit the Market and they are all very similar and somewhat bland at times
@@SketchDesignDevelopment Agree but still better than the bland cookie cutter homes. This house is a bit more modern (semi ultra modern) than the average modern Bel Air home. Even so, my favorite designer is Ramtin Ray ...
I would expect the architect to take the neighborhood into consideration limit sightlines from adjacent properties. The living room in this case is on display like a stage at a block party. For some that may be fine but personally I would not want to be so exposed to the neighbors.
Location matters. It’s not that this home was built in California, but more importantly built in Bel Air which is one of the most prestigious neighborhoods filled with celebrities and politicians. So in short, most likely not. Location accounts for most of the valuation when choosing a listing price.
its worth 1.5 million at best, those surrounding crapy homes will testify that, one golden rule of real estate is you never build something nice in a bad location
This the first multi million house I've ever watched that I really don't like and I've watched loads and loads! I just don't get it! There is not one iota of privacy. There is no way you could safely leave those doors open like that. Well random! Also being overlooked like that would be like living in a goldfish bowl! Trying to find a positive is hard but hey ho I'll try.. 🤔 I liked the front door!
When it does sell, probably a 95% chance it will be an all cash deal. At that price point most homes are. Unless sold to a company which will write it off as a business expense. I have a friend in Nor Cal that bought a $9 million house in Saratoga, he bought the house under his companies company name, then pays himself rent to live in it. So as a company he can not only deduct interest, but he can also devalue the property over time. He pays almost 0 tax
The house is beautiful but for 16 mil. It doesn’t have the privacy that one should have. It looks like someone can come right to the house off the street. And for that price security will have to be in place
Great Design, but the location is unsuited for this kind of style. Neighbors and street too close. Big windows to look at fences and parked cars on the street?? Terrible. All the people walking by can see you in the kitchen, the sofa, your bed... for 16 million?
Neighborhood is Bel Air so it can't get much better than that. But I do agree Hillside with views and more privacy would work with this house design better
16mil for that? 😂 bruh I’ll give you 5 and we’ll call it good. Ain’t no way a house with that price tag is gonna sell unless it has a view that’s worth it. Not even close 👎
This will definitely sell for around that price, likely not full price though. This home is located in Bel Air and was headed by a world renowned Architect. You’d be surprised how much these homes sell for in that area.
@@SketchDesignDevelopment my parents lived in Bel Air for 6 years and in Beverly Hills the last 22. We know the area and that house and it’s design could not be in a worse location. It’s an eye sore in a neighborhood that consistently retails below $10mil. It should be on a beach somewhere not in the burbs of Bel Air. Cool concept poor execution.
@@duhpizzaboi In Bel Air and Beverly Hills, these modern properties are constantly being built around older homes valued at a lot less. Although it can stand out and neighbors may not like it, there’s a reason why they keep building them, and it’s because they sell.
At first, those aerial shots don't do it any favors: looks like the toniest slum in Bel Air. (I'm always puzzled why the mega-wealthy choose being shoehorned so tightly next to their neighbors. Refreshingly fun, compelling and gorgeously executed design however.)
Interesting observations. Land in LA os so limited tha many times developers need to compromise. I this case the house was stunning. One of the best and most unique designs we have ever seen, but the location should have been hill side with views and privacy. We post twice a week so start tuned for more Luxury LA Real Estate.
The house and interior are impeccable. The location is garbage. I know it is Bel Air, but you are looking at a boring house and street. The view from the master should be a canyon or the city of LA. Nothing should block the view in a house this majestic. In the right location you could get $30 Mill for it. Dang what a waste.
I definitely agree the location could have been better and the huge glazing should be more private with views. But the house itself and the design is epic.
part of the interior felt a little cold but other parts where definitely not specifically in person. its always a little hard to get the exact feeling across on film. But overall a very unique house.
Funny enough, this home was designed by Arshia Mahmoodi, an incredible architect who is well known for his futuristic and modern design. I recommend you look up his work.
The house is very well done, but 16,5 millions is to much, very overrated. I would pay at most 6.5 millions, cause for 7-8 millions u cand find houses much better than this one, with more garden, bedrooms and security!
I agree it's not the best lot, though it is Prime Bel Air. Usually new build in Bel Air start at $2000 SqFtt. It will be interesting to see what the house sells for.
The design was stunning and so so unique compared to what we usually see in the LA Luxury Real Estate Market. I do agree a hill side lot with views would have been more suitable for this amazing design

Bel Air is about $2000 Sq Ft for new buildt homes. The Architecture is amazing and the interior finishes very unique expensive to build. A Hillside location with views would definitely have justified the price tag.
Not to everyone's taste. It's definitely out there. We do film different style of home and post weekly. Hope you find some of the other homes more to your style.
Not sure about 80's. This is as modern of a style as we have filmed. There are definitely older style of homes we have shot on our channel also to show the variety of home in LA. Enjoy.
