I am a Pacoima native, and moved Portland Oregon in the year 2000. Still in Portland today. I miss my roots I want to broadest elementary and grew up around Humphrey Park. Thank you for your efforts and showing the world Pacoima.

Unfortunately there was a stabbing that night but everyone for the most part was very cool, love all the friends made that night. Stay positive everyone.

Im a mexican, growing up as a kid, i got bullied for being "spoiled". My dad had a good paying job, 65k-70k a year as a supervisor of an apple orchard. My dad started working as apple picker, due to his work ethics, he got promoted to supervisor. So the company provided him with a nice house. All utility bills paid for. Me and my brother had a good childhood. Our parents bought both of us cars, at the age of 15. What ever we wanted we got it..My dad also bought houses, and rented them out. So he had two sources of incomes..So you get the idea of what money my dad had....but i never understood why others descredit me or dont show me respect to this day just cause "i have it good", that makes no sense. Im pretty sure all parents try to give thier children the best life that can give them. I have respect for everybody and i hope the best for everybody...I hope one day you can make it, so you can give your loved ones a happy life....I get angry when people diss on me for "having it good", cause you're disrespecting my dad's hard work. Thanks to his hard work, he made it possible for me and my brother "to have it good"
