@@Strasky_96 25+ pounds heavier, 3-4hp less, engine maps, start switch/maps/or for k clamp, weak subframe, stock showa forks need to revalved or at the very least the stock oil is garbage and should be replaced after ~5 hours.. Is that enough? Haha.

@@Nielint Only one fact that you listed is true, the others are stuff that people made up because Suzuki hasnt changed thei're nearly perfect base plattform, they just need to improve and tweak a few thibgs with the engine, to make one if not the best bike of the new era

The RMZ’s are still excellent machines man. I don’t think lack of e start is a big deal, but they need about ten pounds less weight. They could keep the rest of the bike the same and lose weight and it would help a ton.

@@bobzuruncle8424 unfortunately the universal motor moc up will not work to loose weight along with the chassis being 3 pounds heavier then modern aluminum chassis the bike is just extremely outdated and both 250 and 450 are the worst bike in the class

What are the key upgrades that really make this thing hum? And what's the max power you can get out of it? Also, can you get a vented airbox for this model?

I’m a short rider as well, I shaved my seat and my bike still feels tall. Is there anyway I can set it up to be shorter? Whats alex’s suspension settings? I can barely reach the ground with one foot flat. So I’m gonna need some tips 😬

Well typically like they say drop the subframe 10mm and if your being extreme rase the foot pegs DO NOT cut the shock or start dropping the forks excessively you will get shit handling by doing that just drop your sub and raise the pegs if your arms are short get 22mm clamps

@@bertbroeder1832 I think you are close. The amount of adjustments they had to do to get it somewhat competitive is nuts. This bike has been behind for a long time. Suzuki should step it up and provide JGR with a decent platform to build from.

@@nestserau doesn't take the fastest bike to hotshot. Watch alex on the bike when he races. Also, how many hole shots does the RMZ250 have ? The bike is noticeably slower. ESPECIALLY in the whoops. You can easily see how much time he loses in the whoops.

The slowest bike on the line still makes 50+ horsepower, this bike may not make the most power but I’m sure it has the most usable power band.
