It would be really great if you could tell the measurements in SI system as well.. because as you know outside US hardly any country use empirical system

The beluga XL looks awesome, a truely beautiful example of engineering and design, with a touch of heart. Blessings to you all, and thank you for sharing ❤

What is Boeing doing in an Airbus video? You just had to add some American planes into it. And, by the way, Airbus uses the metric system, not the old school American Feet. Maybe you should use it too so the rest of the world understand, not just Americans. Later in the video it turns into pure propaganda. All about C17 and several pans over the USAF.

The fact that the video spent more time on the C-17 than on the actual beluga, the subject of the video is a bit wierd but otherwise really good video!😊

People making strange comments on here about it’s looks as if aircraft are page three girls ! They are built for different reasons so it’s not competition and civilian & military aircraft have completely different purposes

I wonder if they got any engineering help from the old Aero Spacelines “Guppy” series from 50+ years ago.

@@venkateshpas3099Thanks. I hardly remembered watching this! I was a student at UC Santa Barbara in the early 1970s, and they often had one or the other of the “Guppy” series conspicuously parked at the Santa Barbara airport nearby. I just refreshed my memory about the first Guppy that was derived from the Boeing 377 / C-97, with 4 “Wasp Major” prop engines, but I never saw that one.

nice doc, but why weird??? the dreamlifter is the weird looking one...a Beluga is just like the ocean mammal and looks more natural than the other weird looking lifter ;-)

I remember my musicroom teacher around the 3rd or 4th grade taught us that song. I think that was in like '93-'95ish. I wonder what kind of impact that song had on the Beluga population

Could not watch more than a few minutes of this video because of the rapid movement every few seconds from one scene to the next. This is very frustrating because it doesn't allow the veiwer time to adequately absorb what is being presented.
