I'm from South Africa but proud Irish support I love the opportunity that Farrell is given to the young lads it's time to build for the next world cup and not focus only on the experience guys
As a saffa it’s hard losing to Ireland continuously , I believe they are still the 2nd best deservedly, WC aside, this is the biggest international test in the past decade
I back this 23 man team to put in a performance and some players need big ones but a little disappointed not to see Izuchukwu although knowing Farrell his time will come. Love Osborne at 15 as he is a classy operator. Super excited.
Irish rugby has come a long way .. Farell and his coaching team have made an incredible contribution.. Ireland were so close to winning the world cup semi final and it could be pointed out that jordie Barrett getting under kelliher was the difference.. in that match Porter stood up the All Black tighthead.penalty went against him but no tighhead would be proud of that .. He will do well against the Springboks . Ireland need to be tight ,low and compact and get the shunt on as one .. the best way to counter the power . Please dont depower the scrum world rugby . Its a game within a game . Crowley and Casey are vital for Ireland to pull off an upset . The high tempo game at the right time and in the right place . They both must kick well . Let the runners contest if putting it high and solid touch finders to pin the Springboks back and stop momentum when needed. Ireland need to have movement in the lineout and throw hard at 2 snd 4 straight up to keep Rassie guessing.. i love Rassies mischievous sense of humour .. we have to keep ours too .. i remember the crowd giving Mike Gibdon a standing ovation for scoring s try against wales and we lost well ..one thing Ireland, Leinster and Munster have done which has cost them is playing running rugby from the kick off in their own 22 in pressure knock out rugby.. A little more control and game management will take the added pressure off .. Make your touches , play high tempo when not under savage pressure, bit of movement in some lineouts to keep the Springboks guessing and go through as msny phases as we can moving the heavy weights around, use Mccarthy, Beirne ,Furlong , OMahony and porter for slow ball . Ireland can do it but everything has to go well .. Éire abú ..
Somehow South Africa / public supporters and the Bokke welcome the high level of Irish rivalry immensely AND respect Thus, the void of the AB’s has been filled remarkably And this is going to be a helluva Test ON ALL LEVELS Tremendous spectacle Perhaps the very best on the Planet⁉️ ENJOY🥂 👊🔥 🪖
Dont think ive ever been as pessimistic with an irish team in years . A struggling national/provincial team vs world champs and also SA havent beaten us in 8 years i think it is ..We seem to be their bogie team but ill be happy if we get within 10 points on away soil
