Honestly think the opening part is the scariest because it has the most real world relevance...its like being alone, not knowing if you're family is alive, and running away from the New World Order gestapo

This game reminded me of little nightmares and i absolutely loved it. Amazing graphics and the fact that you can use your own imagination to create the story its just awsome. And tbh to me the ending was really really sad, its says a lot about society and people in general these days. Great game, an absolute masterpiece.

I think what's most cool about this game along with limbo, especially in a full game showcase, is that in the game you are constantly going forward. So if you started at the beginning of the video and then fast forwarded to the near end, you can really see how far he goes.

I like how this game starts not knowing wtf is going on and by the end, it get players having an existential crisis or more anxious to see if there’s more secrets and alternate endings

The part with the sound boom was oddly gratifying. I liked the music.

To me this game was a masterpiece. I don't know why people are so anal about there being no back story, or that the ending is so grim. To me, yeah it was grim, but kind of in a symbolic way. This was one games where the story was more of an experience than a traditional story. It's not a perfect comparison, but it is kind of like the movie Gravity. Yeah there's more of a story there in Gravity, but for the most part, it's just an event that is occuring and the viewer is there to experience it. This games art design, atmosphere, music and gameplay were all so great that I was happy experiences the "story" through the environment rather than needing to be told why, where or to what end.

Damn. Things I figured out so far during this play.. That boy is MUCH braver than me. And he’s got some strong bone.

i finished this game in one go. I can tell twas one of the greatest gaming experiences i ever had. Its eerie atmosphere, cool puzzles subtly combined with stealth action element and its unnerving, sometimes even disturbing scenes make it such an epic scary saga never to be missed. a true masterpiece all around

love the game hate the ending. A lot of questions unanswered. how did we escape? why are we wearing different clothing then the other mind controlled? why is there a blob? what was that girl under water? did the girl kill us under water or help us? why did everything get all weird after we "died"? did we save everyone at the end? WTF WAS GOING ON??????????

If you dont get the ending here you go: Look at the title of the game, inside. At the end you finally got out of the building. Now you are not inside, but outside. Hope that helps!

I finally finished it.. the end was really trippy and nothing like I expected.. this was a brilliant little game

i think it's a smart story .. if you think about it it talks about oppression and controlling from the government or anything of this kind .. the kid you play as i think he was running away from the oppression and control and turning into a controlled zombie like the ones we see .. you had a hard time running away .. but when you turned into a blob you were totally strong and took them out and you gained freedom .. the blob i guess resembles unity .. so basically the message from the game is we need to be united to fight and defeat opprression and control so we can gain freedom .. i love how the blob fell under a ray of sunshine (that resembles the freedom i guess) at the very end and it became completely calm and peaceful .. which means we will be calm and peaceful when we gain freedom .. i could be wrong, though

When he got passed the mermaid and reached the beach he didn't travel left and shut the power source down. You have to project your submarine to knock stuff down a few times and climb up a ladder.

There is an alternate ending. You need to find all the hidden orbs. The final orb only appears if you find and interact with the 13 orbs before it.

This game was the most atmospheric and mind blowing game I played. The ending was so much fun, so crazy. I really loved it

This game is beautiful- but I can't see playing through more than once or twice.

The air, water, part after the mermaid "kills" you, is a way to convey you need more water in certain rooms than air, and a way to change up gameplay and the puzzles. Also the part where you said you didn't understand why the child was naked is most likely because you maybe didn't notice his clothes being ripped off from the force of him being blown through the tube that enters into the chamber with the blob creature.

Thank god for the internet these days. When I first got this game I would have definitely been stuck at that part where you round up the 19 guys.

I recommend you put the speed at 1.25. It'll save you some time and it wont ruin the games atmosphere.

The graphics, the ambient sounds from the environment, the way the kid sounds and breathes while running and catching his breath everything about it is just beautiful even the music is breathe taking. What an interesting game! Thank you SO MUCH for making this walkthrough!! I really didn't like how you started talking funny for the latter half of the game tho; that ruined the experience for me. I do, however, have my take on what this game's about, if you're curious... SPOILERS AHEAD!!! So, you start out alone, trying to do all of these things to stay out of sight & escape captivity. You're a boy, for one, not a fully grown man. What is the boy trying to escape from? I honestly feel he was trying to escape death, but not a typical mortal death of the body, but the death of the Inside, the soul, or really the youthful spirit, his inner creativity. We lose brain cells the older we get, & thus lose creativity. All those "zombies" we saw were like blue collar workers, some had hard hats, some were strung up to devices & resembled test subjects for failed experiments. We even had one that died. I believe that the glowing control skull cap resembled him using his mind, his creative ideas & positive outlook, to influence the older generation to action, & those "zombies" moved with conviction once he had influence over them. The other influential individuals in this game were the white collar office personnel, including some of the warehouse associates driving forklifts & such. They used their control to keep them in a zombie state, especially mentally. I believe this actually is a reference to the agencies that do & are employing a means of mind control through sound, through employment, & other means of controlling societies thoughts (certain audio wavelengths are less harmonious to mental thought & break focus). Our boy even freed some of the captives from their cages! They helped us get through tough puzzles by uniting their strength with the boy's wit. The one that was dead was off alone, remember. Alone, the boy couldn't do it all. At one point, regarding this "Alma," as Centerstrain01 called her, this long haired female-like underwater figure chases down the boy. She's naked it seems, & appears to be perhaps his age. She, IMHO, represents falling in love, marriage. This as well was an aspect of adulthood that our boy naturally ran from to escape "death." Of course, she got him, & he died anyway, a strange death- she turned his world upside down. She did appear to perhaps even kiss him when he drowned in his arms. A kiss of life, perhaps? She actually saved him, in a similar way that (SPOILER for anyone who hasn't seen the first Matrix starring Keanu Reeves!) Trinity from the first Matrix movie saved Neo after he'd been shot. Love does that, the romantic love that is often the spark of marriage (the spark can grow cold); it kills a part of you while making you alive in different ways; your world won't be the same. Finally, as you're finishing the game, you became naked, which in a way is like reclaiming his humanity. He then becomes part of a human blob, if you will. This blob is much more powerful than the boy was alone. How'd he maintain control of the humanoid blob? The answer is given in how the music for this game was made; the Inside of a skull, where your brain is. The boy controlled the blob from the Inside, using his mind. The boy would not have escaped, nor all the people in that blob, had he remained on the Outside of the united group, alone & isolated. His ideas, his creativity, his true power could not be actualized away from others, solitary. No, to really break free, he had to influence a unified human force; he had to break free from the Inside. That's just my take tho; I could be totally wrong. I know it sounds part crae crae part conspiracy theorists. I may be a little of both lol. I've read the Wikipedia plot explanation someone quoted below; I like my explanation better. Curious what you think?...
