In my travels of Italy I was pushed in a grocery store in Naples, saw a argument between a black African and Italian guy at the train station, when me and my partner was traveling on the train we were refused a seat after we paid for our tickets and the Italians put their legs over the seat to prevent us and any blacks from sitting down on our 3 hour trip when we arrived it was much better. @King Creed No one owns the earth. It's only a man made concept that we do. This was one solid piece of continent, so we're all spread out from where we originally evolved anyway. Birthright citizenship is in itself saying certain people have a right to occupy and own a certain area of land because they were born there- we're all born here. We already have that right. We just have let the governments of each country tell us how, when, and why for centuries- we got lazy and let them. I was an immigrant until I jumped through all the hoops in my country. I value that accomplishment because I worked hard to earn it. My journey to citizenship started in cuffs after 17 years in the U.S..

It seems like they love being there. People that have been in America for centuries don’t even love this place. They do nothing but waste resources, vote for people who exploit the land, and vote for poor environmental policies. They took the place from the people who were taking care of it, and they don’t even take care of it.
Let's compare with France. Plenty of peoples born there detest French and want them to be subjugated to the shariah law. Peoples like you were slaves during 3 centuries from the 15th to the 18th in North Africa until France attacked and colonized Algeria in order to stop them. There are many paintings depicting European women slaves there. They had to stop slavery in each country where France was present in Africa (except in Mauritania where Arabo-Muslims continue the trade) and it's not thanks to people having your thoughts. Peoples that want to live like in the country of their parents can go back to live in their country's ancestors. There is no right because you would be born in China while your parents traveling there.
It's a free world. We don't oblige peoples to stay in a country that they don't like or consider racist as long as their community has not take over the whole country and impose its own racism. You know where there might be less racism towards black immigrants? Africa. Haiti perhaps? Why isn't there a sense of dreaming and aspiration to go there? Because people insist on a parasitic relationship wherein they want the utility and ease of a civilization already built for them. Other countries, built by centuries and decades of families and tradition, don't owe newbies anything, nor should they. This whole racism=bad is a fairly new concept in human history. If you look at the large swath of history, it is clear that all civilization, all history, is based on race and lands. To presume anything else is sophomoric, selfish, and nihilistically individualistic, even dystopian. Just because racial equality has been "trendy" in academia and media circles in the past 40 years in The West, doesn't make it moral absolutism. If people are so proud to be black, why is it a stretch to suggest finding your roots in Africa and healing and building that continent? It seems childish to squat on Italian land and enjoy the fruits of Italian culture, then demand to become a citizen. Look at Japan: almost zero black population. Latvia, Poland, same. Africa's inability to address its overpopulation problem shouldn't have to be the burden that falls on the shoulders of the rest of the world. Japan has an even stricter immigration policy than Italy, and they enjoy very low crime, a thriving economy, and a high trust society. It's due time for modernist race romanticizers to be a little more realistic about race and how it effects a nation's culture. Laws are determined by the populis, which is determined by race. Outsiders can't just come into a land, and make demands to change the laws and existing culture. If Italy welcomed more migrants, Chinese, Indian, Brazilian, Canadian, whatever, they would lose the spirit of their country, and we as humanity would lose for essentially enabling their specific culture to go extinct. People can get away with rampant individualism in America, and in large cities, but the old country is fantastic, incredible, and unique, precisely because it preserves and values the community: not of 20 years past, but 2000 years past. No hate, just saying, people should look into their own history and culture before terfing off of the accomplishments of other global tribe's civilization. Respect yourself enough to be respectful of civilizations that are not yours to lay claim to in the name of a wave of individualistic progressive values that, gasp, not everyone shares, nor will they. Europeans are critical of America because they try to project their values on the rest of the world. This is the case here. All of human history has been, and will always be, about race and land, to think otherwise is niave.

In fact; your “hustling struggle” is a much better contextual phrasing than the loaded concept, terminologically, that comes with use of the word “slavery”. [& before you jump on the fact that it was prefaced with “tantamount to”, I would encourage you to check your reference material concerning it’s definition]
@@ArtOfficialKreations “Forced,” because now you have no choice due to surrendering proof of identity, to find another employment... I understand clearly what I meant. It’s not like they could request for an ID replacement from a government building that doesn’t want to recognize their residential status. [Tantamount comes from the Anglo-French phrase, “tant amunter” meaning "to amount to as much." This phrase comes from the Old French tant, meaning "so much" or "as much," and amounter, meaning "to ascend", "to add up to” or “to be equivalent.”] Aside from not being owned/purchased by a slave owner, it doesn’t take away the fact from how they’re being treated, which still seems tantamount to slavery.
Been to Italy twice, the second time last year in 2022, and I was appalled by the blatant racism I've faced. Don't go waste your money in this country if you're a tourist!
@@DDIISSEE Yes because of the Europeans who divided and conquered the country and now after it's been robbed of its riches and conditions reflect that they want to leave. So what your saying is the only place white people should exist is in the Caucasus Mountains. They should leave Africa India America ect. We can take it a step further but what you're saying by also stating braids locs slang food music clothing names shouldn't be copied either, even a minimal amount of research would've prevented you from making such a stupid comment but no you decided to get on the internet and talk out of your ass. I was born in England my parents are Jamaican I was raised in Brooklyn, the father of my children is African American and Sicilian. People like you are everything wrong with earth
Your statement didn't come from a place of respect for other cultures but more of a icky stay over there place ..if y'all only took the advice you gave😂😂😂😂
I'm a black American married to a woman with Italian heritage. Because she is able to trace her ancestry to a particular village, she and our children were able to easily apply for and receive Italian citizenship. My children are considered Italian citizens although they don't speak Italian and have never set foot in Italy. Makes no sense. I'm so sorry that these black Italians which are actually Italians are having to struggle in this way.
It’s a shame that European politics take a backseat in the lives of most Americans. This is disgusting. These “undesirable migrants” often speak 3 languages and work hard. Italy doesn’t recognize the talent they have.
This really should have been 3 or 4 different documentaries. Doesn't do justice to one topic because they've all been sort of mixed up. Otherwise just do an immigration to Italy doc, but include European immigrants. The law applies regardless of race and if not show us how.
Didn't even realize Italy had this issue. SMH. It's baffling and humbling to see how worldwide this has spread. Don't treat people differently based on what they cannot control. It can't be that difficult.
Lol. The only thing that has spread is liberalism and bogus progressive mish mash American values. All of human history has been centered around races and lands since the beginning of time.
We are going to see the back lash of all the nationalism, left right in fighting, and general global power militaristic tension. *This is a very similar situation to pre WW1* if you really look at events and ideology
@@devonbonstein6156 all of the ideologies flopped and switched immediately after ww1 but before it there was no competition to the governments inpower at the time
Who knew Italy still slaves black people to this day? And yes, it was the worst colonial too, literally every country it colonized ended up with civil wars.
It's amazing how Italy's national and cultural animal the wolf has packs in many different colors (white, black, grayish/brown) that accept each other, but the humans in Italy still have to work on that. I think the more solidarity that Southern Italians work with sub-Saharan Africans, North Africans, and other immigrants at least for those who wish to assimilate or at least integrate to Italian culture (broadly speaking) for advocating equality and inclusion in Italy as a whole, the better. It would be a whole other revolution or neo-unification. Historically much of the power and politics in Italy rests in the north part of the country and the hierarchy of social/political/and economic structure I would argue is reflective of that. It would be a whole other documentary that Vice could do, but Italy has a history of internal colorism among the stereotypical depicted representation of Northern fair skin Italians and Southern olive skin Italians. This often gets overlooked outside of Italy and it is an issue somewhat comparable to the racism that exists between mainly northern Italy (and less so in the South) and non-Italians. Colorism exists internally in Italian culture and I'm saying that from first hand experience as well as from analyzing historical records and scholarly sources. Anyways, the more solidarity among the socially disenfranchised in Italy (Southern Italians and non-Italians living in Italy) demanding for social, economic, and political enfranchisement as well as change in general, the more likely I think that meaningful results would be made in Italy.
Italy does not need or want non italians and especially not non europeans. What needs to occur is for anti-italian bigots to stop flooding the country with africans and other foreigners in an attempt to genocide our culture, people and blood.
Being racist isn't a part of the American culture to be proud of. If you travel, that what America is most known for, Systematic racism. Other countries use this template to keep those who aren't rich and powerful at a disadvantage
I'm white and I moved to China expecting citizenship but because I'm white nobody will ever consider me Chinese!! The problem with China is that only Chinese people hold government positions of authority. I totally emphasize with Africans who expect to be president of Italy or who want to have both African and Italian and Norwegian citizenship. I'm pushing to give everyone who visits the US citizenship. I want to pay for everyone's healthcare on earth. I want to print money and just give it away to everyone! Love!
I just want to be treated like a human being lmao. Idk what your on about? Regardless if you are born in Italy, grew up as an Italian, then I don't see the problem.
@@marcosburgos8415 I never mentioned Italy. I asked why nobody considers me Chinese even though I was born in China. There is no white guys like me running the government in China either. You can't see the connection between my story and this story because I am white, I understand. I just want the Chinese to treat me like a human. Why does being born in a country even matter for citizenship anyways? Why can't I get citizenship to every country on earth? That's the question? Why do I need to pay rent when native Americans never paid rent? Why can't I live in your house rent free? These are the questions to ask yourself!! Good luck
@@snowwhite3212 Because your intentionally asking disengenious questions. You compare being treated like a human being to "printing out money and giving it out or "letting people live in your home rent free" It's obvious dogwhistling and quite ignorant to the actual issues.
