Wow the food in Miyazaki looks truly unique! Don’t think some of them can be found in Tokyo or Osaka. Looks absolutely delicious! Need to take a roadtrip soon 👍🏻🇯🇵
Thanks for sharing Ghibi again for Miyazaki . I googled that Miyazaki is a major vegetable export to Hongkong, Taiwan and Singapore...even to rest of Japan. Its a good prefecture for vegetarians to tour on.
I have been to Kyushu region of Japan a couple of times, love it, people are friendly and the place is less crowded, will visit again in the near future.
I visit Japan regularly and find the fresh seafood amazing. For me personally, I do not need to see a fish, lobster, squid etc. twitching on a plate to recognize that it's fresh. Once again for me personally I do not find such a situation being respectful to the life that was just taken.
The only question is whether these “hidden gems” spots will reject foreigners. I’ve been to Hakodate last time, and walked into this Izakaya, and the person behind the counter immediately made a cross with his arms and said “no no”, and gestured me and my friends out. Usually, these kind of food location hunt videos of Japan are created by Japanese or people who has a local Japanese friend. They do not understand the struggles of a foreigner visiting these “hidden gems” that do not have English menu, or even a properly printed menu so that Google can translate.
