Here in Sweden,child witnesses in witchtrails were common. And there are lots of acount of children beeing semi drowned in iswater and tortured in outher ways until they agreed to testify against there parents or relatives. I do not know the circomstances for this girl,but one have to question - what could a nine year old child have done to avoid testifying and somehow save her mother in that inviroment? Without risking being put to death her self?

At least in this documentary, we don't have recreations of screaming "witches" and the hysterics that you see in every single other documentary. You can watch this without having your ears assaulted, which is nice.

The part from 34:35 to 35:03 is the most disturbing thing i heard in a while😄 The logic behind his claim... well it is brutal.

Ive seen a few documentaries on pendal hill . Although it's quite old now.This is by far One of the best on the pendal witch trials .

Disappointed that there were no records that she was hanged... She killed so many people, but I don't really know the whole/real story tho. Maybe they were really not innocent, or maybe they are. You can't really trust Children with these cases because their brain runs really wild. Just the fact that he fight with a monster and won...is already stupid and unbelievable.

This account reminds me of the "satanic cult" hysteria of child abuse in the US in the 1980s. Children's testimonies were important at that time in the US as well.

the thing is: witchcraft practices are still made these days. Here in Mexico there's still a lot of people that are into that. And you can find many crazy things: People that finds weird things like real live frogs from inside their pillows that didn't sound or were papable before ripping the pillow off. Live animals that were buried in cement for months, people that throw up weird things like an entire raw black egg, etc. Or people that are so freaking, sickly and crazy obsessed with a person and turns out that person buried a pack of disgusting stuff like a hairs, pubic hair, of the victim, blood, parts of dead animals, fabrics with spells written on them... all buried on cemeteries (those are called "amarres" : tie-ups). Etc.

Man? Can't you do something about the strip of yellow at the bottom? It's very off-putting knowing that you can't chill and get right into it, bc you have to watch an ad every 5 mins.
