Regardless of what anybody says about this series it gave us” the hispanic community “ something to feel badass about!!! Thank you cast & crew!!! I personally loved the series & am a huge soa fan but man how much more i can relate to everyone in mayans being chicano!
I am a Black girl from the South and I know nothing about gang life of one percentage (1%). What I do know a lot about is family and loyalty. What DID Want MAYANS did was broaden my mindset about what family can be and what loyalty can look like. I loved MAUANS for many reasons. It was well written and the characters We got a chance to see a broad range of talent from the younger actors to the Old G Edward James Olmos. I would pay to watch that man read the telephone book. I am really gonna miss this show for so many reasons. I still have so many unanswered questions. Every time I fire up my Harley-Davidson Street Glide and take a cruise I will remember a great and unique show that I had hoped would stick around for a couple more years. I wish everyone connected with MAYANS all the best!
Lol the Mayans taught you about family and loyalty. They all killed each other repeatedly. They’re scum 90 percent of them had no values or loyalty at all. With that being said I’m glad that this show brought pride to chicanos and what not. That’s amazing. But I think this show could’ve been way better. If they stuck to the SOA formula this show coulda been GREAT. It should’ve been way better than SOA. It started off on the right path.
I AGREE WITH YOU A 1,000%. KURT SUTTER IS THE MAN THAT STARTED THE PARTY AND IN MY OPINION HE DOESN'T GET ENOUGH CREDIT FOR WHAT HE BROUGHT TO THE CLUBHOUSE.
Woke BS ruined this series. Kurt made the SOA universe. It’s his brainchild. And I have no doubt that the teams who worked on the show after are talented amazing individuals. But they did not encapsulate the SOA universe. It’s like they wanted to be a stand alone series and for that they ruined this insanely high potential show.
@@tonym9716after second season everything was rushed, the transition of events was almost instant due to no action and so much deep talk scenes, huge potential but really boring and senseless at times… I understand matter of taste but to compare and even claim Mayans M.C. Is better than Sons of Anarchy is beyond me lol
Many state the Emily/Miguel storyline was overdrawn multiple seasons, but the way she took them both out in the Finale avenging her sister was massive. The subtle build-up references in prior episodes: rearranging the entryway camera, Luis stating he's taken care of every problem for the Galindos, pic under the jewelry box; well-played!
I hated their story in the first 2 seasons, but over time they developed their characters very well and it ended extremely well. I agree that it was a massive hit for the finale
Mini, Emily & Bishop were ungrateful Adelita, Miguel & EZ were betrayed Gilly should've thought for himself for once Angel should've got out sooner Potter unexpectedly became a hero
Bro I swear to god fans kept saying they did like Emily yet she lives and kills Miguel , and we never got to see to see all 3 of them form that brotherhood
Miguel killed her sister. He betrayed her first. But everything else you nailed it. I can't believe Mini did that to the only person who cared about her.

I loved this entire show, but the ending was too rushed. I was expecting\hoping for a Samcro retaliation after Mayans took down Samdino and killed Happy. That was my only bummer.
They should have had SAMCRO breaking in to the Mayans templo and not the police. I imagine you see the camera slowly pan over Chibs, Tig, Rat and others against the porch / deck wall next to the door , then you see Quins back showing the SONS kutte at the door getting ready to kick it in. Door gets kicked in and the screen goes black and without showing anything you just start hearing heavy fire. Leaving both fans of SONS and Mayans wondering who, if any come out.
What would be more surprising? Have SAMCRO kill them all and let us see Chibs, Tig, Quinn and maybe Ratboy and T.O. Cross one last time? Or unexpectedly turn Potter into the hero?
I was hoping for the Grim Bastards to lead the Mayans into a trap with SAMCRO, they're surrounded with Chibs, Tig, T.O (patting Lucky on the shoulder for a job well done) and Rattboy, then Isaac looking smug like he's won then Chibs has SAMDINO hold him and take his President flash off and Chibs shoots him while saying "If I didn't love your brother I'd have done this a long time ago ya fucked up shite" because of how things have gotten out of hand because of him and EZ, he makes one last SOA/Mayan deal: hand over EZ for Happy's death which Santo Padre does because they found out EZ was a rat, SAMCRO kills EZ but Angel escapes the Reaper because they already agreed to vote him out before Kody talks to Bishop. Then later at Templo Cole's merc team ambush Santo Padre because they couldn't deliver the fentanyl, lastly Potter and his team roll up to find dead Mayans and bartenders everywhere at the clubhouse

Im really happy for JD Pardo. This show has done wonders for him. Im seeing him in a lot of stuff as of late. He was in a movie with Chris Pine, he did a badass series with Chris Pratt, he was in one of those Fast movies, he recently did a film with Ben Affleck, and hes currently doing a film with Jake Gyllenhaal. It was so emotional for me watching the scene with bishop and alvarez at the hospital. Marcus has come such a long way and it occurred to me that we have watched this man grow for a decade and a half into who he is on that last scene. If anyone deserved to make it out its him. I seriously hope we get another spin off because i don't want to say goodbye to this shows universe kist yet. Im not too big of a fan of the broken saints idea all though i love letty so i do wanna see what happens with her. Im also not crazy about a spin off based on abel. I think him and thomas should grow up to NOT repeat max's mistakes. It would spit in the face of his dying wish. I hope if anything they just go with the bombs idea and whatever they decide, i hope it continues to be based in current time so we can see what becomes of some characters after mayans.
From SOA/MAYANS. WHAT A MFKN GREAT SHOW. THE DIRECTORS FOCUS OF THE ACTORS PERFORMANCES WERE SIC AF. I actually felt the Heart-felt goodbyes from the Cast/Ctew. Amazing all around.
I wasn't a fan on how they did the Bastards in the end, over twenty years of brotherhood between them and SOA and they join the Mayans in wiping out a charter.
They should have split the final season in 2 so they didn't have to rush it as much, last Season was all over the place, I loved the show and the ending was disappointing 😪 so much potential wasted But thank you for the memories.
I just re watched the Mayans took 6 days to complete it. I thought I watched SOA a lot. I did the Mayans started slow but I’m so glad I kept it going. My husband rides and is in a club now 5 years. I like both of the shows. #kurtsutter did great job 👏
SOA finale had 9.26 million viewers. Mayans MC didnt even reach a million viewers. I blame Elgin and his staff not the actors for the downfall of this show that had alot of potential to be great. Season 5 and the finale was terrible imo and the fans of this show have every right to be upset at the terrible ending
No offense to the rest of the cast, but the Mayan that scared me the most is Joseph Lucero who played Creeper impeccably well. And, although she was scarred from her past, Carla Baratta's Adelita was absolutely beautiful. Sad, sometimes, that people aren't able to escape their past. Too bad that the show's compelling storylines couldn't continue, but ~ as Danny Pino reflected ~ everything has a fated end. Though, some ends are unfortunate and come all too soon. But the COOL thing is that we get to keep the memories.
Fact it was on top of a parking lot. Shows any location can transforms into a set and this caught me off guard. Bc i thought their HQ was built outside the sound stage where they film lol
In the future they can do another Mayans where angels son and galindos son belong to the same charter but than find out there cousins also maybe Alvarez new son can be the presidente of the charter a whole new motorcycle adventure!
BaddAss series & loved every bit of it, just like S.O.A.🔥 The only thing I will say, is that I WISHED it was the Son's busting in on them at the end, instead of Potter! Like the remaining Son's that we know from the OG squad! Chibs, Tig & Co. That would've been it. BUT, maybe now we'll get another sequel like that!🤞🙏 OR even a prequel like the "first 9" or something like that... 🔥🔥🔥
Perfect ending no way to please all viewers when it comes to a great show the ending did justice leaving viwers with blanks to fill in for themselves where necessary.
My Mayans MC Finale Wishful Ending Jax is coming back from hiding to avenge happy. He never died. He asked Gemma to do him one final favor before he ended her by getting him out the Mayhem Vote Situation while protecting SAMCRO. (In S7EP12 of SOA titled “Red Rose” Gemma asked “who else knows” and Jax said “Just the club”. They weren’t talking about Tara they were talking about the master plan for him to stay with Nero, Wendy, The Boys and away from the club life like Jax and Tara always wanted to however was never able to do so because of Gemma’s plans for Jax to stay in the club his whole life. With this Final Favor from Gemma to finally let her son go peacefully… Jax gets to play dead, and go raise his kids in an innocent setting with Nero’s Guidance and without Gemma’s influence at all. That’s why the club was sad on the final episode. It was their goodbye as Jax went to embark on a new identity without Gemma or anything else connected to SAMCRO & Charming) Anyway, Gemma paid convinced and paid off the Truck driver she met to be on 580 at a specific time to meet Jax to help him make the switch. That’s why she parked her car in the truck lot and not the regular car lot at the Rest Stop Area. That was Chuckys Car she planted for Jax to get dropped off at to go drive off to Norco. Gemma was there To recruit a stranger that was a Truck driver who has zero connection to her for Jax’s big escape plan. It also Turns out that the Cop in the Cop Car that tried to stop Jax at JTs Memorial site & got shot at by Jax while missing completely without the cop shooting back at Jax but instead pursues him was all planned on purpose to get other cops to chase after Jax who had an APB for killing Barosky and August. Turns out he and every last cop in the chase were ALL AB members connected to Tully (Marilyn Mansons character) in position to respond to the APB to helps Jax get away from the rigged Crash Scene. Chibs Coerces Jarry to fill out the Accident Report on “Jax’s Death” the Same way Unser did for JT when he got hit by the truck when he Covered for Clay. Which is why Jarry told Chibs she didn’t wanna be involved with him emotionally anymore. The favor made Jarry feel Reluctant and uncomfortable but she did it anyway to help The Club & Jax. Now Jax is With a new identity and name living in Norco with Nero as a farmer on the Farm that Nero bought in exchange for Alvarez buying Diosa from him. With Jax being “Dead to the world” Alvarez inherited ALL of Diosa doing the Mayans a Favor establishing a legit pipeline for them. (Fun note: it’s also Jax returning the favor for Alvarez playing dead for a day to save Tara from Salazar in SOA season 3) Now Jax is seen on the Farm lifting and stacking up Bales of Hay on top of each other yards away from a red Barn while a 13 year old Abel and 10 year old Thomas are riding dirt bikes in the field like Wendy explained when she told EZ about her kids. And another scene of Jax and the kids milking a cow together. (Notice Nero saying “This is about having a place we can Run to” on SOA while talking to Gemma about going to Norco or “Maybe it’s time to Honor Tara’s Wish” when speaking to Jax in S7EP11 of SOA) So WITH ALL THAT SAID… Jax was supposed to be dead to the world forever except for the parties involved who helped him. Nero, Wendy, Jarry and Chucky. That changed when EZ and Angel Murdered Happy. It turns out Alvarez Sold Out Happys location to EZ in order to finally get retribution for his son Esai from SOA season 1. (Marcus Told Tig he would have to answer to God but he will avenge his son someday like Tig did when he took out Pope) Happy was the one that hit the kill shot on Esai by the hotdog stand. Because Jax loved happy, it provoked him to come back. (Remember Alvarez told Quinn while attempting to find out who killed Diaz “if y’all wanna kill each other so badly then go ahead”. as a way to revenge Diaz’s death and his sons death, Alvarez kills 2 birds with 1 stone while keeping his hands clean of all MC Business by being ultimately responsible for bringing Jax “Back From The Dead” to kill EZ in retaliation for Happy the same way he killed August Marks by coming out of a reaper hoody and popping EZs melon from behind….. THE END!
Liked the show but felt like the whole point of the Mayan show was to write off Kurt Sutter and his characters so he won't ever finish the work he wanted to do which was the real drama that keep the shows going for me, it was like how they say you'll never work in this town again, I say that because it might open the possibility of Kurt wanting to work in that town again. 🔪🔪🔪
FX, Remake season 5 and give us the series’s finale that we deserve! And maybe let creeper live and EZ die a noble death in a final show down against Isaac or a final ride like Jax! You can keep the part where Ez rides and meets Wendy, just change the sad reason why he rides off And have Miguel and Ez have a brother moment with Miguel And especially don’t Rush everything and needlessly have so many people dying left and right, it was just cheap writing!

NEW STORYLINE. Angel/Son come back to take cold blooded revenge for making him kill his brother. Goes after the rest of the remaining Mayans/SOA that had anything to do with his life. I'm just saying.
