Luminosity is not an ordinary yacht.She is Art in motion. The most advanced technology ever seen in the yacht industry matches the most pleasing results. the proposal revolve around the concept of light, opening up the walls and allowing natural light to cascade throughout the yacht and its six decks. Luminosity boasts floor-to-ceiling windows on multiple decks. The interior of the Luminosity yacht was developed by the high-profile design house Zaniz Jakubowski Design. Onboard there are twelve cabins that have space for up to twenty-seven guests.
This includes one master, eight doubles, three twins, and an additional three Pullman berths. Thirty-seven crew members also find space onboard Luminosity to cater to every need of her guests.

Luminosity has spacious entertaining areas which invite the owners to host elaborate celebrations and events on board.The extensive beach club on the lower deck has a plunge pool, swimming pool (with rising dance floor) and a steamroom with side doors that open up at sea level. Fingerprint security ensures that large parties can be held on board with guests, but they will be unable to access the rest of the yacht unless invited.
Each color, texture and soft furnishing has been selected to reflect the sky and the ocean, both cloudy days and sunrise horizons. And, of course, there’s the owner’s brief. Perhaps the most impressive element of all is the glass stairwell with its cathedral-like stream of light and the glass box elevator with its illuminated floor, clear acrylic handrails and seamless glass ceiling. Both are backed by a forest wall made from an interactive digital display that is embedded with sensors that react to movement. So, as guests ascend the five decks, electronic butterflies fly away (or fireflies at night), and the trees sway.

The yacht’s original owner was Kutayba Alghanim, as a replacement for his yacht Samar. According to Superyacht fan he rejected delivery of the yacht, after some contractual / delivery issues.
The yacht was later sold to Phosagro Chairman Andrey Guryev. Andrey Guryev is a Russian businessman and oligarch. He is the majority shareholder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phos Agro, one of the world’s leading producers of phosphate-based fertilizers.
