Inside Musicol Recording Studio 

This video sold me on Musicol when I was trying to decide on a pressing plant. I called up immediately after watching and John picked up the phone. He explained the whole process to me and I put my order in that day.Great quality and attention to detail. They're pressing a 7" for us this month and I'm psyched! Great company that keeps it old school.

I was there in early 1980 for a Recording Institute Of America advanced recording techniques class that last 10 weeks every Saturday for 4 hours. It was all hands on and you set-up , recorded, mixed and transferred direct to disc using acetates. We also did a session in Studio B, with Randy Cunningham I believe my brother and myself and another guitar player who had a Roland Space Echo unit and the session was called Bozo Babblings - "Guitars Complaint", it was a psych/space-rock 3-song acetate. One of the tracks was a cover of Eno's "Babies On Fire", the other songs were just us jamming, I also engineered and it was all done live in one take and then transferred again direct to an acetate. It's floating around the Columbus area somewhere. It was just very loud and fun.
