Acadia Recording Company, located in Portland, Maine, is the new home to vintage 1950s analogue recording equipment that was originally used by Al Hawke’s Event Records label. The studio includes a full Altec stereo-mixing board, Ampex 350s, mono 1/4” tape decks, real tape delay, spring reverb, and all of the original microphones (RCA, Shure, and EV) that recorded the classic sounds of Curtis Johnson, Dick Curless, and Lenny Breau.
