Acadia Recording Company, located in Portland, Maine, is the new home to vintage 1950s analogue recording equipment that was originally used by Al Hawke’s Event Records label. The studio includes a full Altec stereo-mixing board, Ampex 350s, mono 1/4” tape decks, real tape delay, spring reverb, and all of the original microphones (RCA, Shure, and EV) that recorded the classic sounds of Curtis Johnson, Dick Curless, and Lenny Breau.

Great to hear this, there's just something about the old sound that moves me ! Lots of new Rockabilly may be cool but that old analog sound is just To Cool for School ! ! ! ...
