That is insanely cool. I like how he said he wanted to practice drawing anatomy to get better and the first one already looked immaculate. Crazy skilled.
Dude I freaking love Inside my Planner stuff! Whats unfortunate is that some times planners can get personal so its hard to find people who are willing to share I think... Hmm just sucks because I love hearing people talk about their spreads and the way they do things. Love this guys art work too!! Hope he keeps it and passes it on to his grandkids haha that would be so cool to have.
I just visited Yoseka today and met Authan! He was very nice and seemed happy to meet all the people in the store❤ He was also very enthusiastic and was a great representative of Yoseka! It's great to see him here again and get to know him more :) His artworks are stunning!
The Authan Chen notebook is simply a work of art. It's clear that the Yoseka team is excellent at all levels. One of the best videos you've made. Congratulations!
So amazing to see Authan's work. Such talent and dedication. I was so surprised to hear that one spread was in Kobe Sorakuen Tea Green ink. I have that ink in a pen right now, but I can't make it magical the way Authan can. I never would have imagined detailed anatomical drawings in that ink. I also love the mushroom washi collection, as well as the vocabulary practice on the monthly pages. Authan, thanks for sharing your talents and your passions with us!
Authan your artwork is amazing to see! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I have the same Hobonichi Weeks and I bought it because I adored the cover design but I’ve been struggling to find a use for it, ha. Your illustrations are inspiring me to start doing drawings of some sort in the weeks portion! Can’t wait to see other “Inside My Planner” vids from Yoseka!

Oh! This is right up my alley! I'm an artist too, seeing how an artist would use one of these Hobonichis is very interesting. Also, very inspiring to see his different interests and his dedication... Love this video! Special mention to the mushroom collection ❤👌😊
Leonardo did the same thing. He performed autopsies in order to study anatomy and did detailed drawings. He then used that knowledge in his artwork and paintings. DaVinci did entire sketchbooks of just hands or just feet.
Authan must seek out The Bodies exhibition. Actual human bodies donated, showing all parts of the Humana anatomy. Old people, flamenco dancers, ballet dancers, horses, etc. it’s fascinating! Authan would LOVE it.
Love this series and enjoy seeing how each team member uses their tools and planners in distinct ways. Authan, you are an inspiration! A year-in-review flipthrough is going to be so satisfying 🤩🤩
Authan, you are so talented! I’m from a medical background so I really appreciate your attention to detail and the authenticity of your drawings. I look forward to seeing more. Thank you for sharing your work.
Hi Authan! I am a fellow Zebra Sarasa pen collector! I LOVE YOUR VILEPLUME PEN! It's fantatstic! I have to agree, watching the ink depleate from your favorite gel pen is so enjoyable!
I love this! I am a professional artist but I love to spend my down time experimenting with completely different styles from my paid work in my Hobonichi Cousin. I love the freedom of exploring without a set purpose. Authan is a fantastic artist! Coincidentally I put little sentences each day in Chinese .
Authan is so awesome! Such a passionate artist 🖤 Thank you for giving us the courage to use pens directly and to not be afraid to make mistakes, often the planner community became focused on aesthetics that we became perfectionist on oneself 😅
I came very close to buying that exact Hobonichi weeks because I loved the artwork so much. But I already had two planners selected for 2023 (I KNOW) and I couldn't figure out a use. These videos, with Authan and Alix have been so inspirational! I love how creative they both are in their use of the weeks format, really expanding the potential. Maybe 2024? 😂 Thanks for sharing!!
I love this way of using the Weeks! I’ve abandoned my 2023 Weeks for the Hobo Cousin, but I don’t want the book to go to waste. I want to try to find a topic to dedicate mine to.
