Feel like the firebird is a ship that a few will get at invictus because its new, and then melt a month later because, it doesnt really do anything special with what is assuradly a high price tag (Yall are surley correct at 250-300) The Nursa, is gonna be way more popular, not only due to price tag, but because it essentially adds a med bed to any ship that can hold the ursa. Even more so for big Org events im sure.
Especially when the Talon Shrike has the same shield capacity, and double the missile capacity (same size missiles). Maybe the Firebird has larger weapon hardpoints buuuuut
@@kenp1677 We already have medical consumables. I think CIG's intent was to always require us to restock/limited use. None of the ships were intended for infinite respawn - unless you have an endless supply of required medical materials. They're just slow as fuck to implement those updates, so we get "bandaid".
I love the look of the Firebird but that's where the love stops. If its rack had some ammo capacity or also introduced S1 bombs or mortars or something for interesting anti ground play as an ammo option, I might have thought about it. I have a missile boat, my Andromeda, which is also a funboat and carrier. Now I can tuck a nURSA in when I want more than my Cutlass but less than a Carrack for a small squad job. I missed having my Cutty Red being useful. Another ILW where I'll just be mostly buying paints if anything.
CIG looks to be capitalizing on the popularity and real world scarcity of the Saber Raven. Not a manufactured one like they introduce. That being said I think they will over price the Firebird, CIG is feeling FOMO for once. Im very happy I own a Raven and hope the Firebird skins will work on it like the Saber skins do. The Raven looks cool in Red from the Year of the Money skin sale. GG
Seems like a pretty weak lineup of ships for invictus unless there are some sleepers. But that may also be a sign that we probably have a wide range covered.
No it just got its gold pass, still an Intel promo exclusive like the AMD Mustang. The Firebird is letting them reuse the unique profile look it had for a new offering that doesn't really seem compelling to buy.
I see they did nothing to improve the Ursa Rover's off road capability, The front wheels are still set too far back to easily drive it over rocks. This is more like a gravel road "off road" vehicle. The wheels should be set forward so they run into rocks first, so you can climb and drive over the rocks, instead of the cab hitting first. This just means that the thing probably ends up broken down more often than not.
I dont think the NURSA should cost more then the Pisces red, being just a ground vehicle, but the Hype they build could make CIG think differently. If it's expensive they would sell less for real cash, unless they lock the vehicle under a "pay only" wall (shame on them then).
Freelancer MIS is no longer considered a missile boat? I'm thinking 65USD tops for the "Nursa:. Far too niche for more and no one really knows what gameplay loop it addresses,
This is a medium sized fighter, so it should cost less than a heavy fighter. Since most of the heavy fighters cost $250 that should be less. Much less.
@@NOOBIFIER1337 Everyone always overestimates how much they sell vehicles and small ships for. Then again the generation they are selling too now is way more gullible.
@@NOOBIFIER1337 Also I don't think it's possible to log off from a med bed if I remember correctly. That won't be a thing for much longer anyway. Another promise broken.
Hey Noob, the video repeated over and over again that we asked for the Nursa. I've asked all my friends if they asked for this vehicle, they said no. They did add this question though "Where are the incomplete ships?" Noob did you ask for it? Firebird is a missed opportunity and a easy pass. Thanks Noob.
I just wanted to state that the world is bigger than you and your circle of friends. You guys not having an interest in something doesn't correlate to no one in the world having an interest in it.
$166-$180. It is less useful and the "look" is not justified for high price tag. Firebird indeed. LoL. It is no Eclipse which has a one hit kill capability on a hammerhead so like the storm ground vehicles a similare price to the base Sabre or Comet but not far from it.
What bothers me is that with the new respawn mechanics, medical gameplay is just a joke... T1 injury? Time to backspace and respawn in the T3 bed fully healed...
My guess, in the comments, with my comment, is that there will be an uproar, marketing will be accused of running the company, CiG will be under heavy fire, for something or other that no one asked for, wanted, or needed. I could be wrong, but this is the trend. Number go up.
Sabre is not gold standard How the hell can any ship with there shields that close to each other be called gold standard Missiles have a delete radius and you hit the right spot you delete the shields outright
What they did to the sabre is the most pathetic display of not have a brain there is And they will never be forgiven for it so long as the shields remain closer than 2 meters from each other
Could not agree more. Poor mechanic. Worst part of elite dangerous. They could have just worked out armour and the light fighter meta would have settled into its proper spot in the fight
