Two weeks old and used 3 times and flight stick just stopped working the next time I fired up the pc. Support has taken 3 days send me an bot response to there website telling me to unscrew and reattach stick to base. I did all that before I opened a ticket. I replied back as instructed and nothing. Looks like its going to take a long time to get this fixed. I'm guessing I got took and out 400 bucks. Do not buy this product.
Ooo i just had a fun ship idea... 2 ships that combine to 1 with a center gun. While combined they have an additional large gun for combat vs large and capital ships. When split up it uses the extra energy for its frusters to increase agility vs smaller ships. The Downside is the need for 2 crews.. where not all are needed when combined. Also the Ship can only long range jump split up and needs to reassemble at location for the center gun.

Im thinking of getting this, both the seat and the stand. I allready have a 4040rig for my racing needs, and i do have mounts for my flight hardware, but having to remove the racing pedals amd shifter and installing the flight stick and pedals every time i want to switch is a hassle, takes time, and increases the chance of a stripped bolt or t-nut. It has happened more tham once that my rig was setup for racing, i wanted to fly but didnt feel like spending 10min to convert the rig to "flying-mode" to fly for a few hours, only to then have to convert the rig back to racing. This set would alleviate all of that and allow me an easy swap from race to flight by just getting out of 1 rig and into the other. Since i do all my simming in vr, i dont need to move the rigs in and out of position behind a monitor either.
Starting with art and then trying to figure out how to fill out the interior space is such a backwards design strategy, and it shows in some of the finished products. You start with the ship's role, manufacturer and other requirements. You compile a list of the necessary components and the rooms you want to fit into the ship. You look at the style guide and then you figure out how to fit it all together in a cool package. You design the ship's exterior around the components and expected capabilities. When you start with art and make function an afterthought, you end up with bad products.
Wild to me that they don't design the interiors first on ships with cargo holds. So many cargo holds could hold more ships if they had added 2 feet to the sides, but because the outside is designed first, the inside can end up being too small.
I quite liked the look into how they come up with the concepts. Its quite interesting and its the first one ive watched on the topic because it didnt seem long
Watching the bit at the end with Jared, I honestly miss Wingman's Hanger (Nuts?) and Around the Verse / Reverse the Verse, it was entertaining to watch, ISC is just like watching the news, informative but bland, but I guess that's what people wanted, no fluff. I think it's unfortunate, with the other shows I felt like I got to know the people working on the game personally. I don't even watch ISC anymore, everything I need to know is summarized here on this channel.
The weekend comes, they go home, and then the servers start messing up. Hmmm, I wonder why that happens? At least I know that everything will be back working by Monday afternoon for some strange reason.

I like that you have a reasonable amount of trees around your property. I could never consider a treeless lot to build a home. Oh yeah StarCitizen...still waiting for 3.24 LIVE.... asteroid bases.. cool. Keeping busy working around our home and my Moms home. Never bored....😊
