They seem a great little airline. What i noticed was that the service was very friendly and genuine. Rear in big cities. I love your videos when you show, not just the airline but the people you react with. When possible, would be great to see more of this. I especially loved your flights on REX airlines in Australia. I know your a travel vlogger (which is great) but i love seeing you chat with staff and ground crew. They are the backbone of any airline. Would love to see more of their personalities and stories. Keep up the great work!!!!

Indeed expensive but the convenience is unparalleled. Just from observation, the friendliness and hospitality of everyone associated with Tailwind from the concierge, pilots, dinghy, etc were what stood out to me more than anything. They didnt treat you like a caged animal and seemed genuine about their enthusiasm for their service as well as importance placed on you receiving a satisfactory experience. You tend to get this from smaller mom/pop type businesses that cannot compete on price and instead focus on service and efficiency.

He's here look & he's done it again! I wasn't an aviation geek until these videos. I'm definitely going to be paying attention to the plane I'll be travelling on during my next holiday.

Loved this, and shall try it one of the good days.

Tailwind also saves a significant amount of time for those going to Provincetown. From NYC to Provincetown is a five hour drive off-peak checking Google Maps (and probably between six and eight hours on peak weekends)

That looks like an amazing flight. I have flown on a seaplane a couple of times but that take-off over Manhattan is fantastic.

Noel, love the content as always. You may want to do a little more homework on this sponsor. Even a couple You tube videos on this topic. You are in fact not a Lord through this and they do not plant a tree. Better of donating to a charity that does plant.

For business men who work in downtown NYC - this has to be a great way to fly up to boston, for day meetigs - you save a few hours of travel time to/from La Guardia/JFK to Logan and back, not to mention the hassle factor. They can charge big bucks because the big companies and the one percenter who live the cape, can afford it.

That was so cool, Noel. Some of my most memorable flights have been on light aricraft. It gives you a completely different perspective. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome video! I live about 30 minutes outside of Logan and right on a departure path to the south west, so I get to see these little guys almost daily when the weather is nice, it always makes my day and I can usually hear them coming from pretty far away. I just wish the tickets weren't so insanely expensive, even though I know they are catering to a niche market.

That had to be the coolest flight. Land in a sea plane and make your way to shore via boat. You were grinning ear to ear the entire flight. You are the perfect advertisement for this airline. It was clean and safe. Crew for the aircraft and boat were super. The flight in terms of money was well worth it. No traffic and more time to spend at your destination. I would pay for the fantastic flight.

Noel what a flight definitely the way to go ! I flew from BOS to LGA on a USair B727 many years ago . How times have changed. The Tailwind C208 certainly look’s like fun too . 😀

When it comes to the best seat in the small Cessnas, one better than behind the copilot is the actual copilot's seat. I got to ride there on a Grand Canyon Airlines 208 this summer and it was a lot of fun (but really poor legroom).

I definitely would pay the extra. It is about the cost of flying from Durango, CO or Farmington, NM to Denver, CO or Albuquerque, NM. So yes I would.

As a local Bostonian that travels between NY and Boston this would be so convenient for me. Right where they dropped you off on the plane is where I live 😂 I’m booking my flight now !!

Nice. I live near beantown, and would have loved to buy you a bowl of Chowdaah. There is enough money here in the Boston area, that folks frequently consider flying private. Paying full fare first class on commercial flights is even more common.

If you ever get back to New Zealand you can fly on a caravan and a bunch of small other aircraft on Sounds Air, I flew on a caravan and sat in the middle seat I could see directly out the front window.

I would love to make that flight, and I can certainly understand the value. But another thing to remember, a small airplane on amphib floats as very expensive to operate, and carries very few people. So this contributes to the high ticket costs.

So many utubers are sponsored by those Scottish titles, lords, ladies etc. its getting ridiculous. It stops us watching, so many of you are out for as much money as you can get. You will loose subscribers by now, soooo many of you are doing this.

Aloft are called that for a reason they are usually geared towards air travellers... But they are good hotels too on their own merit.

I am 47 and seaplanes have been flying out of there as long as I can remember. I am sure Tailwind is a new airline, but charter and other flights have been out of this dock for ever. They used to do regular flights to the Hamptons, Block Island, Fire Island and alike

It would have been hilarious if the boat didn't come and they stranded Noel on the tiny platform in the middle of Boston Harbor.

Such friendly young staff at airport and with the boat. Sure as eggs though I'd end up in the water just trying to get into the plane. Marvellous views.

Had I achieved a rating on any type of propjet, I'd have been tempted to shoehorn my tail into the forward right seat after receiving the "sit where you like" invite! (no "single engine - SEA" rating, either; however, a couple of thou, and about a week's worth of 'pecking away at it time' would serve to make for an entertaining discussion prior to takeoff!)... I wonder what their fees for takeoff/landing, and other flight scheduling/management are??
