@@nyteryan Sad, but true. On another note, when I visited, one of the ways I was able to save money on figures, etc was to buy mostly second hand stuff. I got about nine figures for around $90.Another way to be thrifty, is to visit the Nakano Broadway mall in Tokyo. I found some manga from as far back as the 1970's for under $10.
what do you mean? anime is only for rich kids. ever seen a middle class child watch anime?I havent. Those kids who watch anime on Netflix or any other device in big screen, wont they have $10K in dier pockeh?
There's many figures around the $10~$30 range, and there's many deals/promotions as well. Although the nicer and more detailed figures will be more expensive, in the $100+ range even
I have vivid memories of walking under that overpass starting at 8:00. The whole area is just insane. If you want something computer, videogame, or anime-related, it's there. I remember spending a solid morning bopping through stores, buying Japanese video games (both new and old), and barely scratching the surface. I'd love to go back.
A gaming console that came from Japan is always a sought after treasure for many, since there are a lot of places in the world who happen not to experience at all the wonders of quality time, and the stories of each game are endless memories of every individual. That is the ultimate yearning of many game developers, owners, patent owners, copyright owners and all material owners to preserve their work, for them not to be forgotten. Haik!
I think I visited Radio Kaikan two days in a row. I spent probably at least 8 hours a day exploring the shops in Akihabara, and still didn't see everything.
I cant wait till Japan opens up. I wanted to book a 2 week trip here....but of course covid. What this video taught me...is that im going to need a second suitcase.
I've been to Tokyo Akihabara back in the spring of 2019. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go shopping for any mangas or any animé figurines cause me and my fam were so lost in the streets. Hopefully I'd be able to travel back again and explore a lot more around that area 🛫😁
I'll probably spend all my travel money buying merch & figures in Akihabara alone 😂 can't wait for Japan to open up again soon,, Thanks for giving us a peek!

I like to play the "Where's Waldo" game when I watch these videos. Waldo being an obese person. Hard to find. Now if this was in the US, Waldo would be the thin person. 😊

I miss there even with fewer ppl. I went there at 2015 so regret that a lot changed and closed business because of COVID-19. I need to go there again when everything's alright. Ganbatte ne Japan.
Nah they have their problems to which are always expressed in anime. They have a big emphasis on norms and shunning the different. Also their work loads are not healthy and lets not talk about the higher class people getting what they want most times which you can say happen every where but you don't see amazon ceo having power over the police like a japanese ceo has of their police.
16:58 I saw Hololive and my last brain cell melted. Seriously, American malls SUCK, nothing but clothing and department stores. You're lucky if a game store even exists nowadays. (Edit) 25:16 Kizuna AI Dollfie spotted!
