I am a total tea snob and super taster. I have never had a lovelier tea than Harney & Sons “London Fog”. It doesn’t need sweetener, just a look at some whole milk and the smell of the essential oils held by its lavender blooms and bergamot wrap you in a complete sensory experience. The warmth of your cup, the sweetness of the vanilla and lavender, the boiling bubbles in the water promising to warm and comfort you from the inside out! You deserve this! I highly recommend the White Christmas, the London Fog, and the Hot Cinnamon with apple juice as a sweetener. Remember how food is better at Grandma’s house? This tea is like that.

I love Harney and Sons. They will send you two free samples with each order (that you also get free shipping on). In one of my orders I got a free sample of Earl Grey Supreme and I was instantly hooked. They are a great company with great teas. If you haven't tried them, give them a shot, you'll love them.

My favourite tea company! I have been drinking their teas daily for exactly 3 years. For flavoured black teas, Black Currant Tea, Apricot Tea, Earl Grey Supreme and Victorian London Fog are some of my favourites. For traditional black teas, I especially recommend Scottish Morn, Irish Breakfast, East Frisian and Supreme Breakfast.

@@DanybellaYou are welcome! Everyone has different preferences, but those are some of my favorite teas from Harney & Sons. I also like their Boston tea which is a black tea blend flavored with cranberry, almond and vanilla. It smells like chocolate and raspberry to me for some reason. Holiday Tea, Nutcracker Blend and Celebration Tea are also nice. I want to try more of their single origin teas.

I'm an Irish Scot living back in Scotland. I'm also trained in blending teas. Loose leaf is the best with pyramid sachet tea bags or organic coverings second best. People don't realize the little squares of individual tea bags many buy are sealed with glue. Yes, you are melting and digesting toxic glue when you purchase that style of tea bag.

Another plus is that those silk sachet bags are definitely not going to have micro plastics in them, like your traditional teabags would.

For all of the incorrect comments Harney and Sons sachets are made from sugarcane not "plastics". From their website: " We're pleased to say that 92.5% (Updated 1/31/24) of our sachets are now using a sugarcane based material." They are completely safe and biodegradable. So please refrain from misinformation.

The hot cinnamon spice has been my favorite for years. The last couple of years they have cut back on the ingredients in that tea. It’s not as strong as it used to be which means I have to use 2 tea bag’s to equal what 1 tea bag provided. So, I use 1 tea bag of the caffeinated hot cinnamon spice and 1 tea bag of decaffeinated hot cinnamon sunset which you can get at Target and voila I have the strength and taste of what 1 tea bag used to provide.

I been a loyalist to Twinnings tea. I drink tea everyday. So i decided to try this brand and i must say its delicious. Refreshing. Smooth. Not bitter or weird after taste. I love their earl grey. I take it with me every time i go trout fishing. Nothing beats a cup of earl grey on a sunrise.

Thank you to The Dish so much for this piece. I've visited their shop in NYC. While McNutly's in the Village in my humble opinion is much better, Harney's comes in second. It's a tea lovers paradise.

They are the worst. I ordered from them and the package never came. I was asking for the information I needed to file a claim with the USPS, who was confused at why I was the one pursing the claim when companies usually did because they have access to all the information, and the customer service manager said "you're nickel and diming me as a manager". She wouldn't even give me the information I needed. Just offered me a coupon that would have meant me paying 50% more just to get the tea I originally order and never received.

Best tea ever, I go to Harney & Sons on Broome street. I drink 5 of there Japanese green teas. Also flavored black tea Florence. Blood Orange Hibiscus tea. My favorite green tea is Yanagi green. What I love about there store is, you get a free tea tasting from the menu. They are good at recommending teas to try.

It was so cool to see the White Hart Inn in this story. It's located in the beautiful northwest corner of Connecticut where I'm from, and it was a treat to go to there. Go back and pause on their menu. Amazing food. I'm hating the tea I've been drinking forever. I can tell they've reduced the amount and quality of the tea to increase their bottom line. I've stopped buying it. I don't know why companies don't think customers won't notice changes in their product. I can get pretty good teas in bulk at a local health food store, but I may have to splurge and order some Harney tea to have occasionally. I've never heard of them before this episode. I love my coffee in the morning, but enjoy tea breaks in the afternoon, especially when I've made scones.

I was asking for the information I needed to file a claim with the USPS, who was confused at why I was the one pursing the claim when companies usually did because they have access to all the information, and the customer service manager said "you're nickel and diming me as a manager". She wouldn't even give me the information I needed to file the insurance claim with the USPS. Just offered me a coupon that would have meant me paying 50% more just to get the tea I originally order and never received. 1000% do not recommend.

Some of the best teas that can be bought at a store. Might Leaf may be equally good and accessible. Lipton is what you steep at the car dealership when you're in the waiting room or when you just need something that resembles tea. Tetley is rubbish in the US.
