Inside Onkyo Episode 2: VLSC 

Would really like to see a detailed video on the A-9150 pre amp section. I purchased the amp mainly for the pre-amp section and spectra module .I now use a Onkyo M-502 as a power amp. The a9150 is a great sounding unit but I felt it lacked enough power for my Dynaudio speakers. Looking forward to Onkyo producing a new more powerful integrated or power amp with the latest technology. For now very happy with my set up.

Folks, I think this is only valid above the Nyqvist frequency. For regular CDs that is 22kHz... The Red Book CD spec is very much good enough for the media your human (probably older than 8 year old when your hearing starts to detoriate) ears can hear. A guitar could, technically, have a few harmonics above 22000Hz, but those will be 70-90dB below the main (here) 440Hz in level, completely irrelevant to the sound you can hear. Measurements should be shared to compare this reconstruction filter is any better than other popular ones.

My onkyo tnr686 gets very hot very fast . How can I help that? Any solution? Is that normal? Does that affect the receiver life?

if you would use analog only, no conversion is needed :) digital is good for mobiles and stream, no more :)))
