Awwww Jess your such a good host! This is such a cute unit and seems very well built. I’m so excited to see you in your new RV and love your video skills 😘 Xo BlogginBrandi P.S. Convection ovens are interesting. Mine quit working and I haven’t replaced it. Lol
We couldn't be happier for you guys or just as jealous for that matter can't wait to watch the trips you will go on with your husband stay safe happy adventuring✌💗 happiness
Thanks so so much! I am hoping that I can figure out a cat proof way to grow food on the road once we get settled in, even if it's just some herbs. One of them loves to eat and destroy my plants so I haven't been very motivated to garden lately.
Wow! This thing is BEAUTIFUL. I don’t think I got to watch this video in full before, glad I rewatched it. There’s so much space in there it’s hard to believe that is on wheels! I love the stainless steel look. Also, Zeke was very concerned about your empty fridge and freezer. He said “the freezer is empty too!!!! they need freeze pops!” 😄
ATC is my fav RV Trailer co. If my Scamp 19' ever fails I'll be looking at the same model y'all got. Thanks for the walk thru. Looking forward to more vids on your new adventure!
The algorithm on RU-vid brought up your channel since I have some interest in ATC. We have had microwaves / convection ovens in our home and they were great! I know sometimes with RV appliances there are some trade-offs, but they have worked well for us in a home setting that isn't on wheels. Lol
Wow! I had no idea there were residential convection ovens. It makes sense but nobody has ever brought it up before now. Glad you've had a positive experience. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to trying it out.
@@GeographicallyFree The nice thing about the residential ones is that you can put a standard 11x13 casserole dish in to bake. It doesn't really matter in an RV, but for residential unit they seem to generate less heat than the full-sized ovens.
Haha! You noticed my TV hives. We don't currently have toys (husband had a Harley but that is now long gone). We purchased our ATC because I'm allergic to other RV's. No joke. The patio was a big seller too. Perhaps there will be toys again in the future. We'll see.
Looks nice! How exciting! To cut back on shower time try using Dr Bronner's liquid castile soap for all your cleaning needs. We use it for hair, face, body, and teeth not to mention cleaning everything else in the house! Have fun! xoxo
Oh yes, the prices definitely keep going up and up, and if you want one customized it's at least a 7 month wait! We are thankful we found a model that had been built earlier in the year and was priced accordingly. But really, we are happier that we even found one within a 3 hour drive. Options aren't as plentiful in the Northeast. Thanks so much for watching!
Hi Daniel, this one is a 2021 Game Changer 2816. There is also a Game Changer Pro version with some different upgrades for this model year. I believe everything will be more streamlined for 2022 as far as options go, at least that seems to be the buzz. If you are interested in learning more from others who own these, there is a Facebook group called ATC Toy hauler owners. It's been a great resource for us!
@@GeographicallyFree Thank you for the reply. Do you plan on spending winters in the camper? If so, how are you preventing things from freezing? Or are you going south? We are looking forward to your next videos.
What do you have against owning a TV? I watch RU-vid videos on my TV. I also watch weather updates on my TV. We watch movies together as a family on our TV.
In our house they eventually just took up space and collected dust so we ditched ours. Don't get me wrong, I've probably watched more TV than the average person already in my lifetime. I think the shift to self employment and working from home kept us busy enough to gradually forget we owned one. We have turned them on in hotels to see if we miss watching but we don't. We each have our own laptops and phones to watch RU-vid, and in my husband's case the Patriots games during football season. When we want to hang out together, we usually go for a hike or take a road trip.
Laptops, tablets & phones are today's TV's. I personally don't like TV shows, but a TV can be used for so much more. I also, find it very soothing to watch a great movie in my home theater.
Our "must have list" included a travel trailer with zero slideouts. They are available on some of the 5th wheel models for those who prefer them though.
Absolutely! The estimated base weight of ours is 7,000 lbs. It did not come with the generator package so the current tongue weight is 950 lbs. We do plan to get one though. Carrying capacity is 6200 lbs so GVWR is 13,200 lbs.
One of the most expensive trailers could you could buy and the first time you open the door it already needs to be fixed. The most expensive piece of junk you could buy from a very sketchy company IMO.
I worked on aluminum marine vehicles and I would do and electrical current test to see if your vehicle is live . If so add two small zinc sacrificial blocks if it is . Static electricity can corrode aluminium slowly . An old tip as I have seen some caravan frames with elongated screw slots ..
@@GeographicallyFree a ordinary oven is a convection oven you just have a few extra functions, but hey every oven definatly cooks different and has to be learned.
