You got a couple of things wrong. Sony is stopping production on recordable bluray discs, not movies or TV shows and Walmart is not phasing out physically media that's target. Walmart, in fact is investing heavily in physical media
Sony is not stopping production of Blu-Ray movies. They are stopping production of Blu-Ray recordable media like BD-R discs, which probably no one uses anymore. They just signed multiple distribution deals with Disney and a few other studios to distribute their movies.

Yeah, no matter how bad the SW brand gets, and it has dropped in quality considerably, I think many people will still go out on day one to see a new SW film. They usually do a decent job of hyping up the new films in the lead up to release.

I don’t know how you could tell the Kinds of Kindness story plot in a trailer cuz unlike other this movie is done like a Simpsons treehouse of horrors with three different stories so I don’t know how the trailer could really convey that.
Lifelong Star Wars fan but I wouldn't think twice about seeing Dune 3 first. Unless I see positive reviews from people I trust like Jeremy Jahns or Kristian Harloff idk if I'll even bother to see the Rey movie because I have no interest in that character.
Dune 3 being on Star Wars' (alleged) date was probably more for the news story than any serious thought about going head to head. Free marketing. Also, Paris fits in well. My ideal delivery was given which was topic with prompt and into pundit response. Plus you guys also got the Ray/Jonathan banter in. Liking the format. 👌🏾
My only issue with only streaming movies is that you have to be on the web to access them. On my Xbox one I have some digital movies I’ve bought but I’m always hesitant to buy a movie because I only bought the rights to access the movie in my purchases as long as I’m continuing to pay for a service to access them. I wish there was a downloadable option for my movies to be on my Xbox drive. Yeah it sucks when my wifi connection is out of whack sometimes. That means no movie viewing.
The potentially could be better and worse than Barbenheimer because these are two Sci-Fi Fantasy Epics that will attract the same crowds and will either see both or fight on which one to watch.
Just occurred to me that if you see the Deadpool movies animated, so they look like comic book panels, Hugh Jackman Wolverine would look like the Liefeld version when compared to Danny Devito or Taron Egerton versions.
Good point on the Russo brothers. Especially with the economy Nowadays it makes sense for wanting a more efficient director. Though for marvel they are hurting for internal directors that would be up for it. The only phase 4/5 directors that would probably have the talent for it are coogler and cretton who already backed out of it. Coogler is off doing his own blade type movie and other stuff. Would be down for Rami but multiverse of madness was mixed. Fuck no to tikka and anyone else.

Cmon man, every sports fan knows just about every record will be broken in time. Speically when kareem had the 3point line added in his carreer. Lebrons already got people passing his milestones like mahomes is passing people. Until sports go back to defense all the records will be broken. We know perhaps 5% of the story as to the Russo "leak". Maybe there is very good reasons as to why they were told no. On the surface it may sound crazy they said no. But any actual fan of cinema should know everything that goes into making a movie or series. There are thousands of moving parts that dictate why or how things happen. Its also absurd to think Dune 3 will do better than the Rey film. Yes, the last film was bad. Still made a billion. The Star Wars hype is still there. Despite what some with an agenda will say. Sure, it could be bad. But its absurd to say Dune would beat it in any way.
They had nothing to do with the movie. They had the rights, and passed the project off to other people but still got a credit. The Russos did absolutely nothing on EEAAO. That's why they weren't there when it won the Oscar for best picture. The ACTUAL producers were on the stage.
My top choices for Wolverine are Taron Edgerton, Jeremy Allen White, Daniel Radcliff, and Zac Effron, in that order. I can see any one of them killing the role.
Youre far from the only. It's subjective dude. You didn't love it. Alot of people did. Some in the middle. Simple as that. Even if one doesn't like them. Any rational film fan would say they are well made at the very least.
I couldn't stand the first one. It literally took me 4 days to finish watching it because I fell asleep 3 times and I only watched it at home like a 6 months after it was released because so many people were saying it was so good. That being said, I have no interest in watching the sequel, but all the talk about it being one of the best movies of the year, etc.. Is making me kind of want to see it, but I just haven't been able to motivate myself to watch it.
Fr dude. I think even Star Wars’s lowest opening weekend recently was SOLO with like $83mil which is what Dune II made on its opening. In the long run, yes Dune II made more than SOLO but I think Dune is just getting trigger happy. I really hope Star Wars doesn’t move
