Inside Propmech, where the Philippine Navy's MPACs are made and maintained 

Philippines should build more shipyards at locations not easy to target by enemies. Congratulations to Propmech for leading the way in shipbuilding of warships.

This process evolved originally from close collaboration between Lung Teh Shipbuilding Co, Ltd. of Taiwan and Propmech of the Philippines, when the Philippine Navy purchased 3 MPAC boats of the Mark I version. Succeeding versions were all built in Subic. Long live both democratic countries and close neighbors in our fight against aggression in the Taiwan Straits and the West Philippine Sea!!

Nasa isip ng iba na kapag sinabing Made in the Philippines eh dapat lahat ng components eh dito din sa Pilipinas ginawa. Hindi naman yan ang tama. For example, sa Turkey, yung bagong ATAK Helicopters ng PAF ay nadelay ang pag deliver kase oo, sa Turkey ginawa, pero yung main engine eh sa Amerika ginawa. Na delay kase may problema ang Turkey at US noon dahil sa pag bili ng Turkey ng Russian missile system. Ang point is the Government should support local industries kase threat din sa national security ng bansa na pati maliliit na bagay na need ng AFP dapat pa i outsource sa labas ng bansa. Philippines should partner with other countries and make deals in order for our local manufacturers to have easy and smooth access lane para mapadali ang pag import nila ng ibang components na need nila para gumawa ng produktong Made in the Philippines. Its time na. Nakakahiya isipin, mas matanda pa tayo sa Korea, China, or even Indonesia pero mas na develop pa nila kakayanan nila na gumawa ng sariling kanila HAHAHAHAHA

The only problem with this is that the weapons and instruments came from other countries which is expensive. But I think if there are more workers working locally and paying taxes the goverment can manage.

I think we can make improvement with this MPAC to tripple its size and design as misssile boat or a quick response arsinal or a mobile patriot boat.

Mpac is not filipino designed and engineered boat..its a licensed product from taiwan shipyard..

This fast attack craft can be used hit and run. Just install enough number of missiles capable of disable the bigger ship.

We need 1,000 MPACs built here in different shipyards all over the Philippines so that we can protect our vast coastlines. Having it built locally reduces costs.

To say the least, investing and propagating thousands of these vessels would be an equalizer to the opponents. During WW2, the Nazi panzer division has overwhelming power over the allied forces' tanks. Howrver, the Americans made a huge victory through the multiplication of forces. Thousands od these made with Philippine made missiles and automatic weapon stations would destroy an invading force. It is beyond day dream to only hold 12 vessels as compared to an overwhelming opponent. The Chinese horde will overrun an unprepared Philippines.
