Good video. My alliance is about 4 months old and has the exact same issue. I’d personally want to do the repair too as you are right. The dealer would keep it for a month and not install it correctly. Thanks for making the video!
Good video. Most of all I was curious to see if you had an easier time than I did when I put on one of the horizontal bulb seals. It was so hard to get it to slide across. I even had a second guy help me and together we barely got it done. So...glad to see it wasn't just me. The vertical bulb seals are much easier to do. Thanks for another good video. Nice meeting you, too. Can't wait for next year. We replced the D bulb 3 times and the main seal once. I had Alliance ajust at it at the rally, and it's been good since. Only thing is the slide is off center now. I'm going to see if I can shift it to the left about 3/4".
Good Video! I'm about to replace the lower seal (under the slide out) on mine as it is messed up a bit. When you were sliding that "D bulb", I was thinking if you only had some 303 rubber/vinyl protectant to spray on the lap seal first. That would have helped with sliding that "D bulb".
I thought about putting something on it but I didn't want to add something that would make it easier for the D bulb to come off. It was an on going issue even after I put out the video. I finally got it fix at the Alliance Rally this summer. The slide needed adjusted
