Y'all might not know this but Pittsburgh Steeler Hall of Fame and 4-time Super Bowl champion(barf...I'm a COWBOYS FAN so this is painful sorta) Terry Bradshaw was quarterback at LA Tech back in the day. He's also from my adopted "hometown" since 1991 of Shreveport. I attended NLU(Northeast Louisiana University) now Louisiana Monroe and a bitter rival to Tech. Back in the day BOTH NLU and LA Tech had two of the premiere women's basketball teams. Ruston is a nice town. I drive through it on my trips from Shreveport to Monroe several times a month. It's cool to see my "neck o the woods" on YT. But honestly my allegiance as a native Arkansan runs deep Razorback Red since the 70s. But it was fun following NLU when they won the National Championship in Division II football. Stan Humphries(also from Shreveport) was the quarterback. Fun times indeed.
@@michaelradin yep they torn down the old score board to build a new one that's bigger.(3128 ft. Biggest score board in Louisiana)It's a two phase project building. First they will put the score board up and then build a whole building over there. It will take two years to complete the whole thing.

@@michaelradin that wasn't phase one you got a video of. The first phase will be done next football season. As far as restaurants go I haven't personally ate at many but there's a place called the dawg house down town I heard was good. But I don't know I don't live in Ruston but I do go to Tech. Ruston in my opinion is a great college town with great people and restaurants but I haven't been to many. The school is such a great place. I personally think Tech is such an underrated school.
I live in SC, but Waffle House is amazing it’s not for the boujee I prefer my cooks to do being doing things they shouldn’t when I pull up 😂 just stopping by on my CFB 25 team recruiting trail

Born and raised in Montgomery Alabama always was a fan. I went to a couple games for it being my first time going there and Absolutley loved it. Just went to the spring game this past year #HBTD
@@michaelradin it was great! Ruston isn’t all that much and what I mean by that is that it’s not like a New York or a LA It’s pretty much a hole in the wall but it’s a nice hole in the wall. The whole town was great the food there is excellent. The people were nice Everything about it was amazing. Definetly going back again👍🏻 love the video man!
As a Louisianian, from south Louisiana near baton rouge, go tigers lol. But I have had a soft spot for the bulldogs, something about the colors as a kid, nice to see someone visiting our swamp
This was a school I always played with in NCAA football 🏈 back in the day. Was really cool seeing the school and town for the first time. Amazing people and a great college town. Plus zero traffic!
