Today Sports Dissected is welcomed to Fayetteville, Arkansas by the Razorbacks baseball program for a tour of their new facility, the J.B. & Johnelle Hunt Family Baseball Development Center. Arkansas Baseball’s 49,000 square-foot digs was funded entirely by athletic revenues, gifts and bond proceeds from a bond issue (no university funds, state funds or student fees were required to complete the project) and features an improved and expanded locker room, team meeting room, strength and conditioning center, training room, nutrition center, pitching and development lab and an in-venue batting tunnel. It is considered one of, if not the best college baseball facility in the country.

Ole Miss has an epic baseball complex too! It is the big push in the SEC to build state of the art baseball facilities so they can attract top talent. The amount of SEC teams in Omaha proves that model works.

Definitely cool, just not sure it makes sense that college facilities are now nicer than the facilities of professional teams. When you look at these multi million dollar buildings, it makes it much easier to understand why tuition rates are skyrocketing

I remember playing there around 2004 for a AAU tournament and we used their facilities. Nicest locker room and facilities I've ever used. This is even better now but it was super nice back then too. Awesome ballpark.

Man I thought Purdues new baseball facility was the best. My senior so sure loved it when he got an invite to a camp. Can wait for him to see this! My mom is from Arkansas and her cousins son is a student manager or something. I have never met him but know his name. You never know who’s watching at the tournaments that goes all over there he country to see these young talented young men. Maybe my boy will be there as a utility catcher/first and third base.

Arkansas has players from Hawaii, California, 1 player from Korea, and some players from the northeast. Arkansas recruiting is literally world wide. Dave van Horn will look at all players. Every draft able player will be drafted. A couple will be in round 1. Arkansas is currently ranked #1 in the nation. This building is alot of the reason why. Plus Arkansas is constantly in the top of tickets sold. It's an amazing atmosphere with 10,000 people in the stands. And every game is televised.

As a true college baseball fan this is amazing, I love to see the schools take care of the student athletes the ones that make the schools what they are. This is giving back for sure. I think I will have to take a roadtrip next season to see a game, Nice job Arkansas.

Check out the penn college wild kittens facilities!! Their state of the Art retro fitted replica from 1952, rivals none and pales in comparison to the out of the ballpark amenities, of the Razorback facilities. It underwent a $757.00 massive renovation in 2019 and boasts Pepsi machines on all levels. Being a 1 floor building, anyone can do the math... The wild kittens 😸 are a fierce bunch and have claimed the PA division 7 intercollegiate interstellar stardust floorlamp divisional crown 👑 in each of the past 17 years. Feast on that!!!

I find it amusing reading comments from dumb people on the Internet saying stupid things like "The SEC should kick out Arkansas so they can bring in some so-and-so school as a replacement." I can look at a video like this and just say "whatever dude, that's not happening." Arkansas is in the SEC for a reason and this video illustrates why. Arkansas has sports facilities for Baseball, Basketball, and olympic sports that put the football facilities of most non-SEC schools to shame. Not to mention that Arkansas is highly competitive across all sports and has massive fan support across the entire state without any significant in-state competition from other schools. There are some SEC schools that can't even make those claims.
