The Château de Chambord in Chambord, Centre-Val de Loire, France, is one of the most recognisable châteaux in the world because of its very distinctive French Renaissance architecture which blends traditional French medieval forms with classical Renaissance structures. The building, which was never completed, was constructed by Francis .

Would love more explanation of this beautiful place in english. Was it a kings castle? The buildings ouside of it what were they? How did it survive the revolution? So many questions! How did this castle survive the nazi take over and did this castle experience nazi control of it? I love history. Could you explain more about this place?

Built between 1518 and 1537 as a hunting lodge for King François I, the building can accomodate up to 2000 guests.(there are more history) Thank you for watching.
