Aww, how endearing Rosie Winterton is. Almost makes one forget the fact she claimed so many expenses, she was close to the legal limit set out for MP’s, not least, to soundproof her apartment.

Good in July 2024 to be reminded where much of the rot in our country's politics started! Sad to look back today at Jenny Bone's hard work for her husband while still recovering from chemotherapy, given his later 'reward' for her by starting his long affair with a county councillor.

I’m honestly sick of hearing about how endearing our pomp, our traditions, our eccentric political customs and etiquette are, and how the world is fascinated by it, how it’s our soft power. I travelled 82 countries from 2018-2023 and if there’s one thing which was relatively constant across all countries - it’s that the UK is a laughing stock, clinging to its embarrassing, antiquated system as a pacifier to distract from the fact it’s a failed state. I wouldn’t spit on it to save it from burning.

So gutted Penny lost her seat.
