I felt soooo inspired and refreshed damnnn! I wonder the kind of books M.I reads his perceptions are out of this world. Thanks for this amazing video I love it
Crypto currency and NFTS will outsmart the banking system in the nearest future serving as a global fiat. Already making over 85% profit from my current investment🤑
@@akeemsalami1764 this is part of the problem M.i was talking about; we should believe in ourselves..he didn't get a degree abroad..he said he came back from America with no degree I think he schooled at ATBU, Bauchi
MI's Dad, Rev Abaga used to come preached in our church in Rayfield Jos in the 90s. MI and his brothers were in the band. Their family has always being of great blessing ever since
You can say that again. I never knew he's like this. How I wish all out artistes are like him. He is superbly loaded and can engage any Politician in any conversation and on any topic. He has a sound mind.
Tayo, your growth is incredible. I remember when you started, and then you told us about your days as an uber driver. You took us through a journey, real estate and now we are seeing Africa in a different light. Now we are hearing the voices of Africans and their achievements. Beautiful, your determination and driving force, incredible. Well done and more wins.
This is inarguably one of the best interviews ever of any African RU-vidr. My respect for the Host & Guest ( M I Abaga ) is at all time high .. Brilliantly done. I wish there could be a second part to this please please please !!! Definitely trying The Pause Cafe. Thank you very much....
I almost carried from the passion in his voice when he said WE ARE AFRICANS! My God! I wish we will one day understand the full depth of this statement. Tayo, God bless you!
His responses are so deep and well thought out. Tayo did you edit the parts where he stops to think before responding? My respect for MI just went through the roof after watching this interview. What a guy!
"I consider myself a smart guy,but to run a company is more of that..." "My music flows from the conversations I am constantly having" "It's like a dream that got interrupted by a graphic nightmare" "Nigerians obfuscate information. Its called information assymetry" "The idea that you are born into a culture and religion is a crazy idea" "The human race evolved from us,and we are the source code for genetic truth about where we are coming from-and about human biology"
Don’t you just love ❤️ the Way Tayo Takes us on different journeys all over the world and introduce us to the most amazing people from all walks of life. ♥️💛💚🖤
Watching this podcast right now, and I was totally blown away. just had to pause and drop this comment. This is one of the most amassing content I've seem on RU-vid in recent times. How you put all these together is mind bugling , the sync between you and your guess, the editing, choice of location and everything in between. I must say you and your team are truly amassing, I love Watching your videos, keep it coming, you're doing a great job.
I am from the Caribbean and have never heard of this artist before, but I'm glad I know him now. This was an amazing conversation, because he is so full of knowledge, wisdom, humility and positivity. I could listen to him speak all day. Well done @Tayo Aina!
“I think we need to talk about it” - Africans are terrible at expressing their emotions and feelings. I think talking makes things better. Definitely learnt a lot from this interview. Thanks for bringing MI on board, Tayo.
Our mentality is to be king of clan. Which means If a Nigerian makes it - He keeps it to himself - which is ca terrible ideaology. Your candle loses nothing when it lights up another.
I never wanted this conversation to end. I so much love MI for many years now. I like his philosophy about life, something he proves to be very good at in this video. Thank you so much Mr. T for making this video for us. Peace!
I've always known that M.I. was an intelligent person, but, damn, this man is what I hope to be someday. Wise, articulate and driven. Thank you, Tayo for bringing M.I. on your channel. I really loved it.
Maaaaan! It's been a minute. Haven't seen this guy in a while. Such wisdom, Africa needs more people like him. Can't wait for the podcast. Love from SA🇿🇦
I almost cried from the passion in his voice when he said WE ARE AFRICANS! My God! I wish we will one day understand the full depth of this statement. Tayo, God bless you for this intense and insightful interview.
Let’s talk about Jesus Christ not sex music that leads to immorality. Jesus Christ is coming soon, we all have to repent and stop promoting sin. God is holy. God bless you.
An African from Kenya back here. So refreshing to listen to MI and amazing questions by Tayo. I have always felt the same way, we Africans have a serious inferiority complex. It does not matter who made us poor or sick..it is still our problem. We MUST create our own solutions for these problems. The first thing we need is to love ourselves dearly and be proud of who we are. Loving ourselves means doing aware with systemic corruption and getting rid of selfish politicians and making borders disappear. It only takes one to visit a places like Mombasa - Coastline or Kenya's Savannah and just realize how blessed we are. We have a beautiful continent but more so we have the warmest and happiest people on earth.
"We have to do the right thing even though it's hard but that's the only option we got. Go to school, study, work hard, try, even when we fail try again and never give up". An out of the box insightful thinker, positive optimist and philosophical dude. Thanks Tayo for sharing this thought provoking conversation you had with this guy, it gave us a lot of answers concerning the black man's struggle, and challenges us to do a thorough self introspection. Keep up the good work, despite all the challenges. Your line of questioning was on point. 👌👍👍
Wow, I picked on the second advice “there is always an effect of doing things the wrong way, it might be fast but there is an effect, maybe not immediately but eventually” 👏🏽👏🏽
I opened this with the intention of coming back to watch later. MI is so charismatic and composed that I was enjoying hearing himspeak and couldn't go back. Lol, I watched every second of this video; big ups Tayo, salute MI.
Almost the same thing i did. I saw the notification about this video like 3 weeks ago and was just procrastinating about watching. Safe to say, this is the most powerful conversation i have read or heard for a very long time. Like i needed reminding how intelligent MI is. This was really inspirational. Plus i love that cafe.
Tayo, I'm an older person living here in the capital city of the USA. I have to say this video had me stuck, I couldn't move you asked all the right questions and his answers were very enlightening. He as well as you are two people that I could listen to talking about the state of Nigeria, Africa. I love that he made me think about things regarding the hurt and pain that sometimes causes people to lash out and not always do everybody understand.
I clicked so fast because judging by his tweets on Twitter, one can tell he’s incredibly smart and intelligent. I can tell he has great insight and this interview would be nothing short of intellect. Listen to the way he speaks, a lot of Nigerian artistes need to emulate him. Not everytime “speaking nonsense lyrics that make little to no sense and pulling stupid dance moves” that are supposedly appealing to a selected “very shallow-minded Nigerian populace”
This is my first time seeing a Nigeria Artist/musician creating jobs......at least build a factory in Nigeria and invest in your country.....buying a house in abroad is not an investment.....sometimes I wonder if their money is made to help their people or not because non of them have a factory all they do is to buy different types of cars
MI is super smart and need more platform to express himself, 5 years from now he will be super huge all over Africa and the world. Nice content Tayo ....
I'm actually not expecting anything lesser than the best though. but I must confess again Tayo you are really doing a great job. God bless you for always feeding us with the right info. Please I'll be glad too if we can have a One Million apartment here in Nigeria just like Wode Maya did to help us the upcoming content creators. You are such a motivation to me and the reason why I never planned to give up even the result I desire has not come to manifestation. Don't stop keep feeding us with the right information I believe Nigeria can still and will still be great again if we can have more of this heart in the creative industry among the youths. God Bless!
Its good to see that MI is alive and doing well! I was wondering what happened to him because the Naija music has gotten a little bit too dull without his artistic contribution. But its definitely great to see that he also has other projects going, and I can't wait for his next album. Great job for digging him out...like only you could.
I wish there was a way to broadcast this conversation in every African school. As a grown woman, I know how impactful this conversation, especially MI’s description of Africans, had on me. We really don’t know or understand our greatness, it’s a tragedy.
Lol. Let's back it up with our innovations o. We black men seem to sit on our machismo and think we're greatest. I want us to embark on fruitful projects away from music, art. We need to transcend the tech world, farming and also protect our women. They are the most important companions to us. God bless you all. I'm slowly starting to play my part and I hope to be on Tayo channel one day soon.
Doing things the right way is harder no doubt, eg trying to grow my channel is no joke at all, but putting in the work, I know the result would be beautiful in no time ☺️
Mehn! What more can I add?! The comment section have said it all. We are lucky to have MI as a Nigerian. Nigeria isn't all cursed after all! My take home today is to acquire more information by reading more. It's helps and takes one places. It's very evident in the man, Mr Incredible! ❤️
Tayo, You need to bring MI back. I have gone through some of the comments and it's like he should continue. I believe we need to have a conversation on our country Nigeria. We need someone like him to mobilize the Youth in the right direction. Yes, our past leaders and even some current ones have let us down. I believe this guys will have the right word or statement to ginger us on the positive lane. We need to shift from NEGATIVE to POSITIVE for the love of our country. We cannot continue to cut our nose to spite our face. That is what we have done in the past years and up until now. We need to pick up our pieces, forgive ourselves and work together as ONE BIG NIGERIA family. The entire black race is looking up to Nigeria for leadership and direction. We cannot afford to let them down. Yes our leaders have betrayed us. But for how long shall we continue to grumble, complain and murmur about it? I declare my LOVE openly today for MI ... and I believe very strongly that he has a role to play in building LOVE BRIDGE between the old and the young Nigerians in order to move Nigeria forward. The time is now. MI, in case you read this message. You cannot afford to retire now. This interview has done one thing, reveal your true calling why God made you a black man and a Nigerian. We need you at the center of Nigeria. You have the WORD and the MUSIC to pass the timely message across of ONE NIGERIA and ONE AFRICA. We MUST UNITE AS A NATION. We must transit from HATE to LOVE ... We are not denying the fact that we have gone through a horrible past and even in the present, but our background is not strong enough to tie us to the ground permanently. Let's shake it off. The time is now. God bless you, Tayo and MI NOTE: Why not make the next video a LIVE INTERVIEW on your channel and entertain some questions. It is possible and doable.
I keep learning from Tayo, I see the thumbnail and Title changed. I definitely know there's a reason behind it. Well done, Boss. Fantastic Delivery as Always! 💯
Tayo, thank you for this!! Have loved MI since he first started rapping. In my opinion he is the best rapper in Africa. Was a bit disappointed when he stepped to the background but this conversation explains why. He made such phenomenal points about all the questions you asked. I'm really looking forward to the Talk about It Podcast. Thanks Tayo for giving us a window into our home. It's makes such a difference for those of us in the diaspora. Forever a fan!
I loved this! Such insight. He gave us real answers to well thought out questions from Tayo. Btw you should have more sit downs like this (not related to real estate), but just conversations to challenge the mindset of the people. Well done.
Hey Tayo, thanks for this video and I am sorry my comment is coming late. The last 4 videos leading up to this one has been a journey, thank you for the positivity you feed me with. While MI was talking I saw an older version of myself, and it made me strong . I can’t wait to grow wise. He has this unique understanding about humanity, something I preach to a lot of people daily. Imagine if everyone saw just the humanity and nothing else… God bless you jare🙌🏽
People like Tayo are the reason we have hopes for Africa. Too many negativity about Africa and Nigeria and it’s good to hear positive things about Africa
Tayo, thanks for bringing this video with your interview with M.I . It was very interesting, you guys covered the issues that needed to be highlighted. We as Nigerians are strong, and we need to see ourselves as one nation, brothers and sisters who are proud of our country, and our mindset needs to shift away from the west. Great interview. May both of you be blessed abundantly.🙏🏽
One of the only Nigerian rapper who can express his experiences through his music. Good communicator, good story teller, well spoken, and very educated.
This has been incredible to watch. Super intelligent take on everything. We need more content like this. MI should put himself out there more. He has a message this generation needs to hear
MI is not just a rapper but also an Adviser and positive moral life promoter! It's so nice to see him talk about history and philosophy cos this subject matters builds our integrity and our capacity to so right! Weldone Aina and thank you Mr.incredible 🙏🙏🙏
M.I is just the best, not only lyrically but also intelligence as well. I can see why he is the greatest African Rapper of all Time. Just look at the gems of wisdom he was dishing out.
I watched his TED talk and it was amazing, so didn't waste any time clicking...I have always been a fan of MI and I don't just become a fan of someone for nothing... please lets see falz next.
