I have been glued to this show since he started it. He gives a wonderfully comprehensive overall vision of the situations. Without the bs many people put in.
physician here - there's three rules of surgery: 1) eat when you can 2) sleep when you can 3) don't fuck with the pancreas. Necrotizing pancreatitis is literally one of the worst diseases to treat; I've watched/participated in necrosectomy for a patient; it ended up destroying both of the the patient's kidneys, >60% of their large intestine, and large amounts of small bowel. He ended up dying after undergoing countless surgeries/necrosectomies.
@@matts882 Common suspects - alcohol, gallstones, hypertriglyceridemia; all which i would suspect in Kadyrovs case. The severity would be unusual, but it's not uncommon
I can tell you as a RN with more than 18 years' experience necrotizing pancreatitis patients are some of the most difficult to treat. You're talking about patient-controlled analgesia pumps. insulin drips and most likely ostomy bags to manage and often some sort of cardiac drip to take care of. You're in their rooms constantly waking them up to take their vitals or check on their drips so they get very little sleep, not that they can sleep through the pain at any rate, and your constantly worried that they can decline and go into full blown cardiac or respiratory arrest at literally any second.
This seems so odd for someone with no medical background. To me, the pancreas is just that little thing that produces this one thing: Insulin. Is there a specific reason why the pancreas is so finicky and super important?
@@Kitsudote From what I recall in Biology classes, it also produces digestive enzymes for digestion and is sandwich at a very tricky place thus probably very difficult to reach in a surgery
Thank you Simon for the great video! And a special thanks to the editor for not overproducing this video with weird effects and filters and thus keeping the attention where it needs to be! :)
That's nice and all, but they dint have reporters. I trust him and all butbthey are getting their news from OTHER news. He doesn't have someone reporting first hand. So whatever you trust from him, you are saying you trust the news they source.
I enjoy his stories certainly, but disagree with you about lack of political spin… his Ukraine reports are full of misreports of the strength of Ukrainian forces and how inept Russian forces are… while great propaganda, I prefer to know the actual story, instead of pulling the nato cart.
@live4lifeeeeee975 Fair point there, he does lean heavily in Ukraine's favor, but it's justifiable in a sense. Russia is a bunch of assholes and started an unjust war.
Terrifying the thin line we tred between upkeeping the facade of society going to work etc whilst if the Baltic line becomes necessary it could likely spell an immediate threat of nuclear war
@@ThroneOfBhaal yea we are seeing behind the curtain here.... he likely has been doing this forever..... when he films a line and doesnt like it, flubs it, or fails to smoothly pick up the start of the next line, he likely either just redoes it or perhaps somehow flags it for the editor.... something like a code word or a gesture.... seeing this i imagine he simply takes it from the top. Feels like he would have a more complex process for such things but who knows.
I hope your editor is doing alright, I noticed several points where you've repeated a line of script to do it better and it hasn't been clipped together as neatly as usual. hope all is well!
I'm appreciative of this, I learn a lot and feel like I don't have to sift through expert chit-chat to tease out what the important points to know are: every sentence Simon says is an important point, with no fluff!
The fact you had some dust or paint or whatever on the back of your right sleeve is fantastic. You deliver news better than anybody else that I've watched. And I'm pretty sure you're in a T-shirt because your basement is hot, correct?
I love all of Simon’s channels. But did anyone else notice two separate playbacks during this episode? Where he says something, then it cuts to 3 seconds earlier where he says it again? Surprised to see such a mistake on one of his channels.
Another brilliant video Simon & Co, loving all the recent content, keep it up! I have absolutely no defence or military knowledge or credentials, but I do hope the Baltic Line doesn’t repeat the historic mistakes of the Maginot Line prior to WWII and that it isn’t used as yet another excuse for leaders westward to become yet more complacent.
Its obviously impossible to predict, but an in depth video looking at what a Russian attack on nato would look like with various scenarios would be very very interesting
As Lithuanian I can say that things are heating up around here, alot millitary movement, exercises in urban areas, no one wants to talk about it, but everyone feels that it's coming sooner or later.
LOL i love that a "California Psychics" ad just ran on Simons channel. Semms so fitting because of how he clearly believes in that kind of stuff (if you have no watched decoding the unknown you wont get the sarcasm)
It's like... most everything Simon does is more informative than just about all other things out there.... It's to a point that the only complaints you can make are little insignificant things... like Simon musta rubbed up against a wet doorframe or something, because of whatever that white is on the back of his right sleeve. SO... if the only thing that can be questioned in the WHOLE VIDEO is JUST "What is that on his sleeve?" That's pretty good reporting and fact explaining on the main topics.
Mike Johnson "... I think he might go to the Baltics next ... might have a showdown with Poland or one of our NATO allies." Somebody should tell him that Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia are ALL NATO members.
Great reporting. Why do people get all aroused on another Mid-Eastern conflict, but totally ignore what is happening in Sudan and some other places. Europe needs to be more actively insuring Putin doesn't continue the aggression.
Great video but on a less important note, what's on your t-shirt arm Simon? Are they mistreating you?! Is this a sign?! Edit: I also notice the left side of your beard is longer! This must be a sign, what's 999 in Czech?!
thank you for the update on the sudan conflict!! mike johnson's intel may be speculative, but they want to avoid being caught off guard in respect to Feburary 2022
Ryssia has kinda had better than just small successes. They broke through a major defensive line compromising a huge area. And they are massing all along Ukraines northern border. France may be forced to come through on Macrons mouth 😮
Many say ATACMS is not powerful enough to destroy that bridge. They could be used to take out its known defenses. CMs and Drones could also be used to exposed defense points. Thus clearing the path for the main punch. 😶
lol poorly trained Russian soldiers…. When multiple articles, nato generals,President of EU borrell, and Ukrainian soldiers themselves say Russian soldiers aren’t poorly trained and know what they’re doing
True, and Russia doesn't send noobs to the front. Raw recruits serve in logistics roles. This isn't Simon's fault though. If your sources are western, that's a lot of what you'll hear. Propaganda.
It's happened a few times before. Between that and the overdone effects or overly loud music, I reckon he's outsourcing the editing to people who don't quite understand/or care about the vibe.
@@cygneturesounds I hoped and thought he got better after taking some advice to not overly enunciate words & speak clearly as the 'Forced Posh' accent was hard to understand even for us Brits as the they tend to speak under their breath A LOT! But looks like now quality is suffering, as least we can understand him better than before (almost there).
@@AWHM i feel its likely this is an effect of a time crunch.... they have access to metrics and stuff that we have no clue of.... with a look behind the curtain, its likely they can see dynamics we cant even imagine. Considering it a bit, I imagine there is a channel or perhaps several, they have to compete with. As in, take a small handful of channels, and whoever among the group gets the first video up regarding developing situations, likely gets the lion share of traffic. From my limited experience in streaming\content creation i can tell you one thing for sure.... for live views and clicks\subs\watches into the future.... the algorithm always rewards the channel\video\creator with the most views and momentum. The rich get richer as they say.
Anyone entertaining the idea that Russia would push into Poland or any further west is either a victim of wartime propaganda, or willfully peddling it, either way it makes you a clown.
