Saudi Arabia was an impoverished country before Americans discovered oil there. It was a 50/50 partnership with the Americans. Then, the Saudis kicked the Americans out and nationalized the Aramco company. Saudi Arabia needs to find another industry because their oil will eventually run out. Electric cars will put the Saudis out of business.
