The one thing that my JW in laws always say is "We all believe in the same thing, so we know we can trust eachother." It really breaks my heart because I love my in laws very much. They are never overly pushy with me about JW stuff, but I definitely recognize the lingo and mental conditioning. Great video Justin! Stay up 🤘

I'm not an exjw but I understand what a cult is. I left mine Christianity, apostlc Faith because after serving for 59 years i couldn't keep going with the things that was taught as God's word when it was simply man's imput and what they wanted you to believe. Since removing myself from that mental slavery, i understand what you all are going though, but I can care less, I'm free to serve the God my ancestors served long before we ever knew about Christianity. This is SO TRUE! Just attended one of the circuit assemblies since the pandemic. We all said, wow this assembly was pretty boring, uneventful. Actually, info coming from the stage was just DEEP reiterating. LISTEN OBEY and DON'T QUESTION! Very subtle ways of mind control.
The watchtower uses the same tactics that many churches use. For example, if you walked into a church for the first time, they will play a lot of music to make you mentally relaxed and submissive to their message. They will speak with charisma to try to influence you and follow along by trying to get everyone to say amen. Quickly trying to make you in agreement with them before you have time to discern and see what they are really about. It's like signing a document without reading the information.
I think one of the reasons I woke up is because I tried to actually study. I saw inconsistencies and branched out to other sources. Then I really started pulling my hair out.

Getting indoctrinated by JW is like putting 10k spiderwebs on you, and when you try to get out, every part of your mind has spiderwebs, you get rid of some, you have little left here and there all over the place.
My friend invited me to sit in as a guest during their meeting. Whooo boy. It was worse that I anticipated. Very dense feeling and they kept talking about death, and seeing dead love ones again. Not the same feeling I’ve had before attributed to the Holy Spirit or Christ Consciousness. I’ve felt a high vibe at a Catholic Church before during my godson’s baptism. I’m not religious per se but I am open minded. What I experienced was extremely morbid, not inspirational at all. Total sunken place.
I agree witnesses are operating off the program they are given. A family member sent me some JW articles and I was able ( Thanks, to the Most High) to show were the articles were applying the wrong scriptures and the articles where opinions only. The famiy member sent me several more articles and again I was able to use the bible and take apart every article. In the end the family said JWs is a wonderful organization. Keep in mind everything they sent me was debunked by the bible. I am praying for my family member they are basing their salvation on a "wonderful organization".

The watchtower gave a recent talk about saying that former members left the organization in order to live comfortable lives. They are conditioning current members to continue worshipping the watchtower at their own expense. What you are saying is definitely true because my sister who is still a JW is thoroughly conditioned through the music and talks despite the false prophecies that has continually gone through.
If leaving for a comfortable life means you can concentrate on doing what is best for your current situation and your family‘s situation then hell yeah!!!!!! that’s why I left. Put JEHOVAH FIRST( nonsense…. Wanted to say something else but will keep it clean) they REALLY MEAN put the WBTS publishing company and all their DEMANDS ( aka Bible decrees that only the ANNOINITED can decider) above ALL ELSE or DIE. One of the things that's repeated is that no one is perfect, the elders are imperfect, Jesus didn't say the Slave would provide perfect spiritual food. Even people who leave or those who are in but have heavy gripes against the leadership will defend the organization with these sorts of lame excuses when they hear someone speak against the borg. My mother bitched constantly about the elders. As soon as I pointed out the gross hypocrisy and mishandling of CSA, she said "They're not perfect".
You are so correct! It's own followers will have serious gripes about how inappropriate many of the elders are. But, still express that they are chosen by Jehovah to lead. So they justify their sinful practices by saying they're a vessel that Jehovah is using and overlook the outrages sins conducted. It blew my mind!

The only real love is if you are in one of their "clicks" I remember I had to go back home one year and drive my elderly father 60 miles away to an assembly as no one even offered to give him a ride and also during the Thurs night meetings no one even offered to pick him up because his vision wasn't good. Awesome video as usual. I never thought about the songs they sing, and visually see the words such "listen, obey, we are JW's" ect. Using repetition is how they get it to stick. Kinda reminds me of the sci-fi classic movie 'They Live'. The apostates are the ones wearing the shades which makes them see. You can basically look at it as, putting the shades on is putting on a new way of thinking, and we see through the organization.

Fifty years ago their songs were dreadfully tedious and boring. I was usually still trying to find the scriptures they'd referenced, (which you were never given time to do and which no-one else, to my knowledge, ever did) May they regain their own minds and delve joyfully into God's Holy Word and the true gospel of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
You forgot a big one: Discipline. No joke there was even a WT study article (back in the 80s) titled “Accept the mental regulating discipline of Jehovah”. BTW powerful example of angel appearing in the Kingdom Hall exposing JWs.
It makes me wonder about how during talks there is also emphasis on certain words especially during broadcasts and talks. Similar to the music putting you into meditative state.
The publications (especially the study publications) are specifically written to have a psycological impact on your brain. Once you know how this is done you can spot it. .This organization is very crafty in their mind control techniques!
Excellent, exposing the corruption and deceit. Like the bible says we are not ignorant of Satan's designs. I believe this journey was a valuable lesson for me, I can see these same techniques used in other cults and deceptions used to control ppl in our time. I can see through it now and feel more free thanks to the experience of getting sucked in by witnesses. Life is a wonderful thing now.

I completely left almost 6 years ago after being a PIMO/fading from about 11 years ago. Even now I catch myself thinking in weird ways that must be residual effects from my JW upbringing🙄. It's extremely hard to get rid of it all, especially when you were raised in that environment from birth

I have been out over 10 years and still can sing the songs you referred to :-) I mean -- but---its been even longer since I have been to a church service and I can sing those songs too -- so maybe the music is just a religious thing - I don't know what do you think?
