The reality is you will not sell that art to anyone. Rather maybe simply get robbed and then even those naive idiots will be stuck with art that they can't sell ...
The Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina has 250 rooms, including 35 bedrooms and 43 bathrooms. The French Renaissance chateau is the largest privately owned home in the United States, covering 175,000 square feet.
Yeah, it's just too bing for one family. I would have to move in all my relatives, aunts and uncles, and cousins for this to make sense. Even then it would be too big.
Never knew Chateau existed in real life as the world's most expensive house. I used to play Counter Strike game in PC and Chateau was one of my favourite places to play. Looks mostly exact like how it was designed in game. Golden memories. ❤
Thats stupid! All your "images" of what a ritual sacrifice room looks like comes from movies and books, just like contemporary images of the "devil." How do you know these "sacrifices" arent performed under trees in the forest or on golf courses? Anything that diverges from a strictly western and christian understanding of god is considered "demonic" somehow. It honestly gives ignorance and racism.
Ginny's character really gets on my nerves sometimes. I understand she's young and wants answers, but damn girl, stop the entitled pity party. Her mom has a right to keep parts of her past to herself. I do feel she [Georgia] could benefit from therapy to better cope. Marcus butting in sending Paul upstairs was also really annoying. I really like Paul, but Joe just keeps getting finer. Georgia has some top tier choices here. 🤩 More pertinent to the previous episode, but your intro reminded me of it. Press's entire character needs to be thrown out. There's no reality where 1 let alone 2 teenager(s) would be vying for a below average looking, douchey character's attention.
The 'listed owner' is Garcia- a famous interior designer, but I call BS. NOt possible Garcia is the ACTUAL owner- the maintenance and upgrades being done are way out of his budget. More than likely , a money laundering scheme or a billionaire who desires privacy on an epic scale.
I love these kind of houses. When I was little, I always imagined myself living in this kind of house in the 19th century and exploring at the time the unknown world.
It was estimate to be 1billion$ and antilia the home of mukesh ambani is worth 2billion$ its was different in many website but base prize was same and the world most expensive home is BUCKINGHAM PALACE owned by royal family of UK.
@@dannylooney7348 Aint a damn thing stopping you from getting money except you. Stop blaming everyone else for what you won't do. It's there, find a way, make a plan, get it.
Its so funny people belivie that their vote has any meaning.... Look at the history, never ever have the rulers cared for the intrest of their people.. Whenever the give us something, the take even more, take care of ur family and do not depend on politics.
@@dannylooney7348ironically enough, medieval peasants were technically more free than modern "free people", because while they didn't have a lot of political freedom, they had a lot more personal freedom, like choosing your work hours and work pace as well as a lot less government oversight in general. For example, if you get in a Tavern brawl in the middle ages, the guards would give you a beating and throw you out, nowadays if you start a bar fight, you'd be arrested, fined for damages and the incident will be placed in you criminal record, hurting your potential for employment
Not sure about this place but houses like this usually have a kind of apartment section that’s more homely where the owners would spend most of their time
nope it was likely built using revenue and loans from his own lands, taxes were not even a fraction of what they are today and mostly tarrifs on beer or wine
Well, now the wealth disparity is even greather than in those times. Thanks to technological development the effectiveness of labour increased so much that we could easily feed and house everyone and yet millions of working people still starve so that a couple of billionaires could have an even more ridiculous amount of money and wealth. I have friends who work full time and are homeless. And that's the "rich" part of the world, I don't live in the Third World. Gotta love capitalism.
@@morgannull4685 It's capitalism, exactly as it was described by Marx - if you have time I recommend you read chapter eight of the "Capital vol. 1" (the entire book is hard and long, so if you aren't interested you won't get through it). Yes, factory conditions have improved somewhat since the XIX century, at least in Europe, but relatively to what they produce, the workers are even more exploited and they are still being fucked over when it comes to how many hours they have to work. I worked at a steel mill and we literally had an electrician who worked over 30 hours without any break. I myself worked almost 70 hours in a week (12 hours monday-friday and 8 hours on saturday) and for what? My health is ruined, I risked my life every day and I still only got a fraction of what I produced, barely more than minimum monthly wage needed to survive (approximately 5 dollars an hour in my country).
@@mlodylechita7564Income inequality might be high but so are the living conditions, thanks to capitalism. It is drastically better than back in the day, if it wasn't, people would actually revolt.
Someone is still able to afford the place when the 40% of french families don't own their own house (just like serfs). This means elites still exist today.
There are no bathrooms, no sauna, and no heated indoor pool. Heat comes from fireplaces and no ac. The art and antiques must remain where they are and can not be removed. But you must maintain the insurance on every single irreplaceable item. You can swim in the outside fountain though. Oh, monthly maintenance for the grounds alone is staggering. You are essentially "owning" a museum the country cannot afford to maintain with a ton of conditions attached. Still interested?
I once house-sat a large mansion for a friend's parents when I was coincidentally in their city on a work-assignment for 2 weeks. It was actually quite lonely and since I knew no one in the area I spent most of my time in just the living room watching TV. I was happier when I got back to my crummy apartment cause at least I had some roommates there to talk to lol.
You learned a valuable lesson. I was with a rich girl spending daddy’s money for 3 years. Lived in a mini-mansion and actual mansions everywhere else we went to visit. I have never felt more alone and depressed than I was at the end of that relationship. Sitting in my brand new mini-mansion with extraordinary luxury all around. I’m much happier now in my 1,200 square foot D.R. Horton home! Drowning in peace lol
@itscomplicatedbeingawizard2892 I purposely sold my previous home because it had way more space than what I needed. I opted to then buy a similarly priced home for its location rather than size. It was 50% smaller, but 30 minutes from the ocean, instead of being in the Midwest lol. The location made me far more happy than the size of the house.
