Gawd, this guy was in the middle of the Original version controversy and STILL gets it wrong. The Special Editions came out in 1997, nothing to do with DVD, it was to build up hype and finance Episode I. When DVD became the standard format, Lucasfilm took its sweet time to do yet another Special Edition and released them in 2004. This frustrated fans because the originals weren't being released on DVD. No respect to fans at all. 2006 they did another reissue with the 2004 Special editions and as a "bonus" a piss poor laserdisc transfer of the originals. This guy saying "the original resolution" is ridiculously dumb, like... Has he no awareness of NTSC? The original resolution is film, period, that wasn't even attempted, his corporate speak of "fur the fayns" is so grating and dishonest.
