Imagine running at him as the clock winds down. 5....4.... EJ recieves the no look at the wing 3, you messed up and collapsed on the PG..... 3....2....You jump for the block, the scare, anything... The ball sails over your fingertips as you hear... "Yup"
@@brian6441 Ok you're* probably joking but if you're* not; To score 50% in a real game IS different since there are people guarding you. They aren't just all open 3s.
EJ shot percentage: 50% Chuck shot percentage: 35% The highest career 3 point percentage is 45.4% by Steve Kerr. The highest single season 3 point percentage is 54.55% by Bojan Bogdonavic. EJ played behind the scenes in the NBA
I can only imagine how tough it would be to play Ernie in a ball game. 5 seconds remaining with your team leading by 2, one stop and your team wins, you guard him top of the key, EJ pulls up and then you hear “Yep”.
It's not so much that Chuck was bad. A 55 year old who doesn't practice anymore going 7/20 (35%) ain't terrible. It's more that old Ernie went 10/20 (50%) which is crazy. Don't forget that Ernie's father was a MLB pitcher. He's got athlete genes.
There's a 130 pound difference between them as 60 year old men. If Charles was 200 pounds and hadn't endured so much physicality during his career he'd be something to see!
EJ is not only a pretty good athlete, he is a tremendous Human Being. One of the greatest people you’ll ever meet in your life. Read his story on his son and his family. What an incredible man. I admire him greatly.
Hey Inside! I wanted to keep this short, but I’ve been dealing with my fathers death and the break up of a girl that Ive been with for almost 2 years. Your show gives me so much hope and laughter. Y’all impact people more than you could ever imagine.
Best part of this clip was seeing Drazen Petrovic on that screen. Absolutely loved him as a kid. I was devastated when he died in that car crash. What a talent.
Chuck is a very humble person. He always make sure to let people know that he appreciates them. He thank and personally shake the OKC ball boys at 4:38.
From meeting Chuck I noticed he treats everyone equal and his time is never too important to talk, he's really a great dude and always the life of the party everywhere he goes!
These guys still got it which tells me back in the day in the 1980's-1990's was some Competitive Times in basketball so many legends and big men That played like big men Deadly shooters.
@@deadarmd He played first base for the Georgia Bulldogs in his freshman year. His dad won the World Series playing for the Braves. Athletics runs in the family it seems 😂
No joke, as I see the thumbnail of this video Chuck pops up on my TV in an ad. I saw it as a sign so I click the video and I immediately get a different ad with Chuck in it 😂
+Kevin Lin (Ryu-kun) Playin in sweats is straight up driveway ball. Wood backboard over the garage door and that rim is bent from jumping off lawn chairs.
If you play basketball you can always tell if someone is settled in or not. From Charles first shot on his third rack, you could tell he was gonna brick every shot. Basketball is a fickle game of flow ❤️
