@@SkipBaylesssShow Haha. I'm bald. I dunno even if I had the money I'd do it. It looks like when grown men dye their beards and it's jet black. Just looks fake. If you go back to the first Giants/Pats Superbowl you can see Tom Brady had a big bald spot on top of his head and then next season he got hurt and then comes back with long long hair. He def. got a transplant too. I think as a bald man I just can notice spots with ease lol.
Nah. I've seen a beard like that before in college, and we used to tease that dude about his "spray-on beard" but up close (like inches away) we saw and felt it was real. We all got used to beards being somewhat "defined" - like you can see from afar the hair pattern on the beard (see Shaq's - you can recognize some hair even from the camera distance). But Kenny likely has the blend of beard weirdness - thin and wispy beard hair, splotchy and uneven growth in some areas, and likely a bit curly. He clearly trims it regularly, because I can imagine with that kind of hair and if he grew it out any further, it'd look like a stamped-on beard.
This isn't just a basketball half time show. These guys are legitimately one of the main reasons I still follow the NBA. Their wisdom and insight transcends sports.
These 4 guys are the best part of basketball 🏀 for me. Feel good, great conversation with nostalgia and you’re guaranteed to laugh. Bubble wrap all these men. ❤ Love you guys ❤
11:14 Zion's had that look ever since he was drafted. You can see it in his eyes: No killer instinct, no competitive fire, no relentless desire. Think about any of the greatest players ever in their biggest moments. They had a certain look in their eyes that captures everything I just said. Zion doesn't have it. As a Pels fan, I'd hope he'd learn it or it'd reveal itself. Its starting to look like he never will.
Very well said, and very true. Unfortunately the killer instinct isn't all that teachable. You either have it or you don't. Zion is still young and still has a lot of maturing to do, but it's hard to see him ever truly turning into what he was supposed to be. Just doesn't seem like he cares enough about winning titles, or being that guy.
Every year it’s a broken record with Zion. He’s hurt, he’s outta shape, he’s not responding to feedback, etc. I don’t think words will change him, something needs to happen so he comes to that realization internally - what that thing is, idk, but I hope he finds it while he’s still in his prime
Zion is an elite athlete with no more issues than any other NBA superstar. Shaq and Charles are jealous and feel threatened by Zion so they dog him every chance they get. Zion's numbers are all you need to pay attention to.
Shae’s body could handle the extra weight. He wasn’t battling injuries like that. And he was a force, pure brute he didn’t have many moves just all power. One of a kind.
Ja's impact is evident as shown with the current performance of the Griz while he is away. The challenging thing here is that Ja would probably miss some more games due to injury (same for some of his teammates) due to the grind of the game. So its really important not to miss any more games because of behavioral reasons. Its gonna be an upward battle to make the play-in and playoffs for them.
He definitely could get hurts because he going to play 1000 hundred miles in order to get back in the playoffs and he going to be hursts cause he is not still good shooter!!
🙄🫴💥😉💥Yea, yah yeah, I've heard it all, but talk is cheap, but Zion stands a better chance for over playing himself aside devoted to unfortunately a buffet slip uplifted instead 🤣💥😮💨
@@ShakataelBebesito Right, but getting injured is part of the game. So, Ja needs to avoid non-basketball activities that could get him suspended again so that he would be available enough to be there for his team with the remaining games of the season.
Back-track almost 40 years ago... nobody would have guessed that Barkley would one day become a bastion of wisdom and thoughtful insights. Love that man.
Shaq and Charles care about Zion because they lived that life of not being in shape too being the best in shape and it helped them elevate too a higher level
Zion should listen to Shaq. Shaw had a ton of success but Kobe is on record saying the Lakers left a few rings on the table during the Shaq/Kobe era, because Shaq always came in out of shape and had to play his way into NBA shape. It's why Shaq got so dinged up in his last several years.
What struck Me was how you could Hear the way Zion was Breathing before he even spoke- Zion was wheezing just sitting there talking into a Mic- Even considering the Mic might have been picking sound up Louder than usual, that wasn't a Good Sign- I see Plenty of NBA Players talking, and even after Games they rarely sound 'Weezy' Like that
When did Shaq figure it out ? That man came into the league and got bigger every year He even admitted to Kobe that he didn't have to get in shape or work on his game because he had Kobe to lead the team
Idk what's with Zion like what other place is the criticism gonna come from? All people want to do is see him succeed. Idk why he hasn't reached out to Chuck privately, he's literally been in Zion's EXACT position and learned the hard way.
Chuck, Stephen A and Shaq are offering sage advice. But let's be honest, there is a tendency to pile on [excuse the pun] to Zion and just call him fat and lazy; which is not constructive. This is what annoys Zion
@@mediacenterman8583Two things.. 1. If you're gonna be the man he should get used to being called out.. even for dumb stuff and 2. If everyone been saying the same stuff for multiple years then is it really piling on or is it just a you problem?
What a return for Ja good to see the man back and focused Facing his consequences and dealing with it moving on is the only way to go and ja did that. Hopefully he learned from this going forward and leading by example
The pelicans and Zion could potentially be so much better, if he got down to 230-240.. You can clearly see his explosiveness, while weighing 270 or more and its crazy, but those knees and his ankles arent going to holdup that much longer. As a fan of the sport I wish him the best, and really would like to see him in his absolute best shape. Because when hes out there he looks like a liability on defense a lot, and hes forced to take plays off cause of his inability to make it back on defense.
Kennys beard looks like those beards we used to put on as kids with vaseline and coffee that made us look like hobos! Zion is just another example of some of the young people today(not all, but some)who cannot take constructive criticism(as far as his weight)because he's had all this time to be the great player everyone expected him to be, and he's been nothing short of a failure(in my opinion)! I don't give a sh*t if he doesn't like it or not(it really pisses me off that they give some of these players all that money, and now they've got an attitude because people like Shaq & Chuck have done nothing but try and help the guy), screw Zion he needs to grow some and start playing like they're paying him to be, and stop his whining!!!
Shaq is that big guy...he's absolutely right. cmon young fellas. We need some Americans in the top dog conversation. Ja and Zion we're looking at you. It's a compliment.
Zion needs to listen to them, and not guys like Stephen A. That's why Zion's reaction was like that. Don't make the mistake of thinking that everyone is like that. Like LeBron and KD, they're so used to idiots like Stephen and Skip criticizing them all the time that they think everyone's a hater.
Ja Morant does bring a different type of excitement to this league. Without it does feel like something is missing. I just hope he starts to take his career more serious. He has too much talent to not be in the mix for the ring
Out of the top 3 picks from that year RJ Barrett seems to take his profession the most seriously lol. Both ja and zion need to lock in they too good for us to miss their primesv
@@Byronic19134 i like Morant's game too, but the NBA is bigger than almost any 1 player. for me, it remains to be seen if Morant has truly changed his ways for the better...
he brings something completely different than other top players in the league, an x factor if you will: does he have a handgun on him? with most players you already know the answer. no. but ja's a different beast, and it makes him exciting to watch. at any moment he could go live on ig and pull out an illegal weapon, or assault an underage person in a pick up game
Chuck: "We thought he was gonna be the next big thing." Me: He is Chuck just not in the way you hoped." There are numerous examples of incredibly talented players eating their way out of the NBA. Oliver Miller was a big that could do it ALL, Shawn Kemp AKA Reign Man a straight up physical FREAK and their weight issues (Kemp had other problems to be sure) ended their careers and they never truly realized their potential. Shaq is all world and he said Kobe was right about his conditioning and one of his biggest regrets was not staying in shape because he and Kobe would've won ten rings. I get sometimes the "old heads can come across as "haters" but in this case they are truly trying to mentor a talented player so he can be the best version of himself. You don't get to their level or a Kobe, LeBron, etc. without putting in the WORK!!
Ja is such a joy to watch and an exciting player! Hopefully this is it and he can move on from that bs, he is better than any of these youngsters on the other teams and always brings it.
He’s not wrong the West is a lot tougher than it was the last two seasons. That being said I hope Ja has a bounce back season and shows he’s matured from this
Nah, I know the town Chuck is from, and Ja would get eaten alive there. He's a rich boy that's good at basketball. He needs to drop the act and stick to being good at basketball. Anywhere from Leeds to Birmingham, Ja is just another toothpick.
@@batsoupman1697 it was in the south almost 30 years ago and she never said it was rape its funny how people wanna get Malone convicted for something 30 years ago and the girl never pressed charges.. as wrong as it was lay it to rest
Blah blah Zion straight 😂 they act like he been playing every year with no injuries with no games miss. He obviously rubbed their feathers a bit by having those responses. In fact not one big sport caster who spoke on Zion prior to his speech has responded in a offended way or smart way lol It’s rather hilarious , he don’t wanna talk to y’all sport casters , y’all be switching up , but he respects y’all👍🏽
Are these guys all fools whining about Ja's return and hoping he's learned his lesson ? A normal man, who did the stuff Ja did, would be in JAIL, not kicking back at a nice counselling session eating pulled pork and potato salad.
