Without Sr, Jr would still be a nobody. Junior was given the opportunity only after the split. Sr had a business to run and didn’t want Jr, the obvious star of the show, setting the poor example of work ethic to the rest of the employees who were working longer hours and likely getting paid a small percentage Jr was.
Looks like Paul Sr. is taking on another failed business endeavor. Might draw business for the first year or two, but will end up the same as his shop and restaurant in NY.
T hreason why companies bought a 70k theme bike from occ is because of the free publicity on tv, because there's no way you can advertise your company for an entire hour for 70k, so that was a steal for all those companies. But now the tv show is over, not a single company is buying anything from them and that's the reason they went broke, and moving to this new location won't help a thing, because a few locals will pay a visit because it's new and as soon the locals seen it, then it wil go broke again. Also they got payed 50k per episode, so they thought that it would go on forever and the money was spend harder than it came in, and they didn't save a penny for a rainy day, because they thought that they would be on tv forever and that turned out completely different. Even Vinnie and cody thought that they would get thier own show but that didn't happen, so they went broke even before they officialy opened ther shop, and that's why vinnie and later cody started to work for paul junior, and i don't know how he's dong these days but i'm sure the busines is not running that good, and i woulnt be supprised when he fired vinnie and cody because there are no companies that buy theme bikes anymore. So the frase "out of sight out of mind" is what happend to them, and let's hope that new bike or car shops who get an oportunity to become famous on tv, take a lesson from the teutels, and save their money instead of growing bigger and bigger, because like everything in life, nothing last forever, even fame and fortune!

Many OCC bikes are absurd unrideable relics whose owners are embarrassed to be seen on them. The bike commissioned for the Tonight Show was presented to Jay Leno on the show as a gift. Jay looked at it like a fresh turd, which it was. With Paul senior pleading with him to sit on it, Jay absolutely refused. It was quietly returned to OCC after the show. It was clear after the "firetruck" bike and the "baseball" bike where OCC was going. Put a fork in this, like the "hotdog" bike, it's done.
I was thinking this too and they have travelled to the UK with these bikes and up close they are awful I'm yet to see a really nice smart customer bike instead of the hotdog Mustang NASA chainsaw themed bike
They sure look pretty. Perhaps many similarities to a drag bike? It takes a lot of money and talent to build one right, but you won't go on a 2,000 mile trip. Theme bikes are gay. Everything they built was the same. Same frame, same rake, same forks. They just welded little doo-dads on it. And you're right they're not even rideable. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks they're junk.

@@cycledrag the fire bike is probably the best one there. A lot of thought went behind it and they used a lot of other peoples ideas/memories that went into that build not just focused around building any standard chopper. They put a few custom touches to it that were pretty cool like the hydrant. They built it to honor the lost people due to the tragic, so I'd say that ranks up there for being a great build.
I’ve watched some video of guys that own some of their bikes and most of them have been junk and a few of them almost impossible to ride more than 10-15 minutes. Floor art is all most of them are.

How come you’re not mentioning that all of those bikes that are in the museum 99.9% of them were built and designed by Paul Tuttle Junior not Paul Senior. The only thing Paul Senior accomplished with those bikes is bitching to get them done on time!
After watching Paul Sr and his motorcycle endeavors from the onset...one thing is clear. Quality is always going to be way behind the price...and whoever is financing his scheme is going to get screwed someday
The most uncomfortable bikes ever built they are rigid and unstable and the money he used to get for them was just unbelievable just because of the TV show just to say you had one of those I never wanted a hey look at me motorcycle I always had something that I built with my own two hands it's a lot cheaper trust me and how was he able to keep a lot of these motorcycles through his bankruptcy

I have to say I noticed right away everything was about Paul Sr. when Paul Sr. didn't design any of those Iconic Bikes they were showing. But they didn't mention anything about Paul Jr. and He's the one who should get Credit for those bikes like the Fire Bike, Jet Bike, Comanche Bike, Fallen Hero's Bike, Spiderman Bike, Snap on Tools Bike, Liberty Bike, and the List goes on and on and on. Not only did He design those Bikes, He also Custom fabricated a lot of the Custom Parts that went on the Bikes. And then Paul Jr., Vinny and later on Rick would Assemble the Bikes many times Late into the night and early into the Morning 2, 3 even 4 o'clock into the Morning when Daddy Paul had been gone Home since 4-5 that afternoon and Sleeping cozy in His Bed. Of Course when he was there He would come out of the Office to Pick a Fight with Jr. or Yell and scream about getting the Bike done, usually on His way out to the Gym or the Dentist or some other Mickey Mouse B.S. Paul Sr. didn't design or build anything. Even after Paul Jr. was gone they brought in that Kid Jason who designed every thing on the Computer. And 99% of the bikes they built really Sucked in my Opinion. Paul Jr Originally would sketch a design out on Paper and then He would go from there, Designing as He went. the same way other custom Builders did like Jessie James, Indian Larry, Ed Roth Those guys Built Bikes from the plan in their Heads. Those are and were Serious Designer/Builders. Even the pictures on the wall they showed had removed Paul Jr. from the Picture. A lot of those Pictures I know Jr was in them Originally. I think Paul Sr. is better Known for building Metal fences and structural steel for Buildings than Motorcycles. If it Hadn't been for Paul Jr. OCC would have never Got off the Ground, Let alone be as well Known as they were.
Theme bikessaw them at the nyc bike show if you weren't buying their merchandise they didn't want to talk to you, they couldn't hold a jock strap to Indian larry

OCC, comprising of Jr. on design, Rick fabricating and Sr. financing, created some great art pieces. Very few owners ride them because they are terrible vehicles for travel. Fame went to the Teutul's heads and ruined the show. Nice to see Mikey looking good.
Occ is still in business I remember a myrtle beach bike week they showed up at and they couldn't keep the bikes put together. Nuts and bolts were falling off the things going down the road. But hey I've always thought they were garbage bikes. And it looks like they built a dumpster for the bikes.
Occ is next door to one of BERT’s places. Bert is very successful and occ keeps going bankrupt. I guess Paul is trying to ride Bert’s coattails. Bert’s Harley dealerships are the top in the nation! Now Paul has someone to sell his bikes if he doesn’t overbuild them!

We visited the original restaurant and the big building in Newburgh NY years ago. OCC motorcycles are fun to look at, but I'd never want one as my regular ride.
Having been estranged from my parents for two years a long time ago, I can tell you that is gonna become a huge regret for both parties (unless there's some kinda dark history that viewers aren't privy to). I'm now the early-retired, long-divorced, single father of an only daughter (the best any father could wish for), who cares for his own parents who suffer from advanced dementia. They no longer remember who I am, or that they're still in their home. They live a horrible existence filled with sleeplessness, confusion, and mood swings. It's a "zero" quality of life that I'd wish on nobody because of what that disease does. As a son, and having heard the same sentiments from my parents some while back, those are two years longed for that we won't get back. I'd urge anybody, if there's a chance to repair a family relationship, however small, every effort should be made.

Used to like them back in the beginning but the drama just became way too childish and poisonous. As I've grown up, there are a handful of neat tribute bikes but thats where it ends! Alot of junk themes and cheesy work.....and the production bikes were 💩
Their bikes are crap. Unridable junk with low quality and a huge price tag. You can build any one of those bikes for 20,000 or less. The most expensive thing about those bikes is the crate engine and transmission. I remember watching them on television destroy an engine by pouring too thick of an oil in the engine. Apparently they are that stupid mechanically but they are sure smart at ripping off people with too much money.
First of all these bikes are not Choppers. Not only do they not meet the mechanical/design goals of building a Chopper they are also a far cry from the outlaw mentality that Choppers come from. These bikes are corporate billboards and advertising gimmicks. How antithetical can you possibly get? You can call them art if you want but even that is a stretch in my opinion. Look at these bikes..how cheesy can you get? These guys found a ninch and they made and I guess lost a bundle so be it. But no self respecting Chopper guy would be caught dead on one of these monstrosities. 💀
It must be known that Paul Jr built and designed those bikes. Now some of them were designed by other guys. But in the early days Paul Jr designed those bikes. He went to the different people and drew sketches for them. Paul Sr did nothing. From what I saw on the show. Paul Sr was busy with his Iron works company.
@@eandjcleaningservices8895 didn't even do paper. He just designed as he went. Which drive his father nuts. Also some companies wanted to know what it was going to look like before shelling at that money. Why jason was brought in.
