Had the 1980 model of these RD400s the Daytona Special bone stock..white and gold with red stripe..Great lightweight machine that would keep up with bigger 4 strokes.
OCC just build show bikes and I somehow loved the show , but to be honest as a European guy , a Harley Davidson also rides like a piece of crap . This thing shakes and half of the bolts get loose after one ride , Harley is also just a big show . And a very expensive one , it's not worth 20 or 40.000€ . They look and sound cool , but riding or driving one is not comfortable.
Have ridden the tail, was fun. Rode it on way back from Bristol TN to CA. IMO CA hwy 1 between Carmel and Cambria is just as fun and can be dangerous with cliffs down to the Pacific on one side. Another good ride is Redwood hwy in Humboldt as is very similar in curves but without the dropoffs. Needles Hwy in South Dakota also a good ride. Look forward to trying the Charahola that another commenter mentioned
So willing to help someone even when it’s being an accessory to a felony😂 I’m not going to pretend to know everyone’s situation but at first glance it looks sketchy that he has no key in the ignition and I didn’t here him even attempt to dump the clutch to start it. Probably stolen but you never know.
It’s funny how back in the day if you were on a four stroke you were on a Dino 🦖. Now it’s just the opposite. Well it is until I gets out my 71 triumph.
The naked GL 1000 Honda goldwing . They first came out in 1975 and they ran like a striped ass ape. I'm in the process of rebuilding one for a friend and it's a wiring nightmare.
So much BS is being dished out by the seller, that the seller should get a lifetime ban from any Mecum auctions. Who in their right mind would grind off a VIN number to paint the frame of a super rare bike. I love Mecum auctions but I wish they would have caught this right away. These days it's hard to trust anyone but we need Mecum to verify all VIN numbers and no grind marks. I wouldn't even buy a vehicle on the street that looked like that.
Lol he was just getting you to push him away from where he stole it we was prob gas from pushing already that why he never dumped the clutch he knew it wouldnt start with no key
My guess is one per cylinder to reduce back pressure. 2 stokes pull the air-fuel mix through their crank case so having back pressure might force a small amount of post-combustion air into the crank case
Citizens arrest !! 🤡 This guy probably stole it! 🤬 Then again, I've seen new riders trying to leave in 6th gear, so maybe he just forgot the key in the ignition. 🤷♂️
Bro got a helmet on punching bike and has no key in the ignition and didn’t know you have to be in gear to bump start it your have just became an accessory to gta
No key?? He also wallks the bike awkwardly like he is not familiar with it. In addition to walking the bike "away from public roads" is another sigh it is likely stolen.
